I gotta say I’m not sure how long I’ll stick with the Spigen. The smoothness of it versus a naked screen feels real weird, and gives tapping and swiping a slightly off feel. I’ll try getting used to it but not sure if it’s worth it.

I’ve found Belkin to be great when it comes to oleophobic coating. ESR is not bad as well

Wow, checkmate to Spigen for their EZ Fit system.

I’m sure we’ve all installed countless screen protectors. I liked when the protectors started coming out with the trays that go over the top of the phone that helped with alignment. The several trays that I’ve tried from different brands still allowed a bit of play so sometimes would require the protector to be taken off and realigned.

But this EZ Fit system didn’t allow any error at all. They may not be the only brand that has this system now and I think they’ve had it for a while but wow, I’m impressed and will only be buying these from now on.
There is no better than spigen ez fit.

I agree. I was really surprised, as my wife and I both can’t even tell it is on our iPhones. Will see how well it lasts, as usually get he Apple installed Belkin ones.

If anyone has tested a specific protector's compatibility of the 14 Pro Max combined with the Peak Design case, please report. My new case arrived but have yet to get my hands on the phone. Love the PD case on my 12 Pro Max, but the size of the protector has to be just right.

Anyone tried this ? It’s complete coverage inc earpiece

I ended up getting the Belkin Ultraglass, easily available from the Apple Store. TBH I couldn't be happier. The installation system is idiot-proof, really. It has even a little alignment sticker so as to ensure the protector is perfectly aligned with the phone. There were some few bubbles but nothing a credit card and a few minutes of patient rubbing couldn't get rid of. It's fantastic, smooth, it feels like the original phone glass. It covers the entire phone (no cutout!), works well with Apple silicon and ESR transparent cases. Don't believe the bad ratings on amazon. I give it an A+ 👍

PS: and as always the best technique is in the bathroom after a long hot shower. First the hot water helps you relax, then the hot, damp air helps the dust relax, too. 😁

The Spigen EZ Fit protectors are definitely great to drop in a perfect fit. Unfortunately, I managed to still get a handful of dust particles or minute fiber pieces underneath. Bad luck, I suppose - twice.

One really bad thing I discovered is that the plastic applicator is NOT recycle-able in my area (Toronto, Canada). Plastic #7 (Other) is essentially a catch-all for NOT recycle-able.

Plastic #7: Other (Polycarbonate, BPA)
The least desirable type of plastic to be recycled. Large plastic containers, mixed plastic containers and water cooler bottles are generally made from PC. Multi-resin and mixed plastics also fall into this category. One of the main ways to recycle is through chemical recycling (shredding plastics into smaller pieces then mixing the pieces with water, a catalyst or enzyme to break the plastic down into smaller polymer).

Does anyone know if the ESR or other alternatives are made of better reuse-able plastics? Or if there's a better way to dispose of these applicators?

I went with these:

Matte finish looks great, perfect fit, no cutouts, easy install kit.

Thank you!

Do you know if this covers more of the glass than the ESR Armorite?

I am currently using the ESR Armorite and wish it was just slightly bigger, as it leaves a gap with the Otterbox Symmetry case I am using.

Mind sharing some pics of it on your phone?

Really hard to see clearly when not in person. Edge to edge and I really love the matte finish. 2nd pic is with display "off"

two times in this thread i recommended this. to me it’s perfect and was a simple install.
Absolute garbage even before attempting to install. Just received my 4 pack, they rammed 4 pieces into the package creating damage to one screen protector out of the box. Idiots. One star.

Exactly the same situation here. Two screen protectors installed on two different iPhone 14 Pro’s. A lot of dust underneath.

Did not have issues with ESR on iPhone 12PM, 2 years ago.

So you think the screen protector caused the dust to be on the screen before you installed it?
:D

Another👍 for the Spigen EZ. I wasn't going to bother with a screen protector but had a lot of microscratches on my 12 PM and decided that my 14 PM deserved better. Easy installation, perfect fit, fits my case (Otterbox Symmetry +) - job done.

I’m responding to own initial review whereby I was outraged about the packaging of the product resulting in one of the 4 pack screen protectors being damaged out of the box.

I am generally very happy with this full edge to edge protector that also covers the earpiece gap. 8 out of 10. Would have a been solid 10 if it weren’t for a microscopic air gap around the earpiece areas.
