"Ceramic Shield" "scratches at a level 6 with deeper groves at a level 7" just like other glass.
A few granules of sand or dirt in the pockets will leave microscratches on the screen just like any other glass screen.

Ceramic Shield is "tougher", not harder.
So I’m just lucky then that my phone has no scratches. Previous iPhones would break or scratch immediately

Many current glass screen protectors cover the front camera / sensors / etc in the notch... mine just has a small oval cut out for the speaker. Can't imagine it'll be much different for the 14 pto and there will just be a sliver of a notch cut out for the speaker on top
Same

I'm glad i could verify the zagg and other brands arent worth the hype. I just can't see spending $30+ on ONE screen protector. TBH i've used the ones from Dollar Tree on my 11 the past 3 years and they work fine lol. I put a new one on every 6 months or so, but i'm looking for a privacy protector

I usually go with Belkin as my screen protector (Because I can have it applied at the Apple Store). I always get the Anti-Glare version, but I'm not seeing it listed on Apple's website (Only the glass version is)

Curious if anyone else uses these & if so, have you found it listed anywhere else? I'm wondering if its been discontinued...

Is this really needed? Since the iPhone 13 Pro the screen is practically un breakable
Nope. Not if you don't want one. Yes. If you do want one. I choose to use a screen protector. With much use the bare screen gets small scratches in the oleophobic coating and the coating wears after time. But hey it's your phone and your choice.

Is this the same protector as the one for the iPhone 13pm? Can you send me an Amazon link?
Yes sir, looks like it’s the same.

Spigen full coverage. Trust me. Mine will be here tomorrow.

edit: Nevermind, I see you answered which model phone you were buying for.

I have yet to see an edge to edge version of the Spigen for the iPhone 14. I'm considering an ESR screen protector instead, after reading people's comments on this forum regarding them.

I have a couple of 13 pro screen protectors left over.

Is the general consensus that the 13 pro and 14 pro protectors will be the same size, even though the 14 pro has wider bezels?

I don’t like full screen protectors that cover entire screen and have black borders. These black borders usually cover few pixels of the actual screen and make phone borders even thicker.

I’m going with one this year. I work a desk job and my phone goes in a pocket by itself, so it’s never really exposed to any situations where it would get damaged. I still somehow have all kinds of micro scratches and one pretty deep scratch on my 13 Pro. I haven’t used a screen protector since the iPhone 5 and haven’t had this problem until now. Seems like the tougher the screens are against breaking, the more prone to scratching they are.
