You're kidding! People work, eat and have families?

Seagate is already on double secret probation with me.I'm sure Seagate has learned from their mistake and this drive has been fully tested. I mean, if this drive fails like the other one I would never buy another Seagate drive again so they can't take that chance.
So I just finished cloning my drive and running it. Some first impressions:
1) It is freakin' loud. I mean I can hear it; it's louder than my fan at 4000 RPM.
2) It vibrates like crazy; I can feel the whole computer vibrating. Not fun.
HOWEVER
3) It is a bit faster. Just a bit; probably because I have way too much stuff on my drive.
Anyways some results from XBench:

There's something seriously not right with those speeds, I am going to venture to say that something is seriously wrong with how you tested that.
Is your drive like 499GB full?
Just removed about 100 GB of stuff and redid the tests:

When you ran the original bench, how much space on the drive was occupied?
440GB
And that out of the 486GB usage and not including the 32GB I allocated to Boot Camp. I guess I had like 6GB of free space.![]()

Is the drive still really loud and vibrating like a "cell phone on a desk?"
