Hi all, I have a Mid 2007 MacBook Core 2 Duo (A1114). I am trying to add a seccond hardrive where the optical drive is but the connection is different. Now the last thing I wanted to do was to make a post asking if anyone knew of a way to do it (in other words I have searched everywhere). Is there an adapter that I can get? Or a caddy that has the proper adaption?

Many Thanks!

Take a look at this guide (a compatible adapter is linked).

With the 2007 MacBook you're limited to pre-SATA speeds for any drive that uses the optical drive interface. Not a good idea to put in an SSD using this method, but a mechanical drive should work fine.
