Im still waiting on mine @ "processing". At this point when i look at my order status, i'm not sure if i feel annoyed or disappointed at Apple. It's going to be almost a month since i order mine.
Well everyone, it has been an amazing four weeks. Looking back at the people I conversed with at the beginning of the wait, it has almost been a complete turnover.
I want to thank you all for being such good sports and putting up with me, I have thoroughly enjoyed conversing with each and everyone of you. I was not the thread starter (even if it may have looked like it), so a heartfelt thank you, to you! Even though I won't be posting actively, I'm still going to be on the lookout for everyone else. I hope you all keep this thread alive, and thriving until the last of us "launch day/weekend" group get our phones.
A small review of my phone: there are no cosmetic defects, gyro/compass seems to be fine, touch id is ridiculously responsive, but the level feature may be a little suspect.
To all of you still waiting: the gold is magnificent. It is truly a sight to behold, and definitely worth the wait. It is the best colour by far, in terms of the three. You have waited this long, so do not waiver now. Keep your chins up, it won't be much longer. You will not regret this... once it arrives, all the pain will melt away!

I understand the frustration. My phone was only shipped today so I felt it too. One thing that is helping me get through the wait is remembering that real people who aren't being paid much are working around the clock to get these phones made for us. Real people. They are not machines. The conditions are not fantastic. We want our phones, yes, but we should not forget these people.Just my thoughts. Take them or leave them.
I mean no offense to you, but that is much easier to say from a position of actually having your phone shipped. The rest of us on here who likely ordered only a few hours after you will have to wait what appears to be 2-3 MORE weeks for our phones to arrive, in addition to the wait you endured. I agree completely that the people assembling the phones are humans who deserve to be treated and paid well. But I don't believe that's an excuse for a large corporation like Apple to treat its customers that way. This is my first experience where I actually considered leaving the Apple "ecosystem" (which I'm completely bought into at this point).

I got an email today and I thought it's being prepared. Sadly, they just upgraded my order to next day shipping. Still no email of preparing for shipping!
9/20 6:35 pm est. Originally ordered 9/20 3:03am and decided to change it to 64GB later that day. They are shipping the morning order, so I got another month to wait.....
Twice I got the in store pickup option, once Verizon and today AT & T, but they can't change it to device only. Good thing I never cancel the original order. The reason I want to get the phone faster is because I am leaving the country 10/31 evening and won't be back for 2 weeks. If it arrives 11/1 then it will just sat there for 2 weeks. I have to find another unlocked phone to use while I am oversea.What a pain in the ass.

I'm pretty sure you will get an update soon, since we both ordered on the same day, and the time is not that far apart.
Ordered from Apple.com, AT&T Gold 64GB iPhone 5s at 7:50 AM EST is preparing for shipment, been that way for a few hours. It is expected to ship Oct. 24-28 for delivery by Nov. 1 in 2-3 business days. Hopefully sooner.
