I pick up my ceramic edition tomorrow so this is a little late...

I plan to wear it every day. I'm starting to have concerns about the durability. I've heard the ceramics are prone to cracking and chipping. Is the casing likely to be damaged by "normal" contact? Like banging into a desk or a door frame? For some reason my watches seem to be magnetically attracted to door frames :(

Any "every day" wearers experience chipping or cracking?
It's not an Apple Watch but my ceramic Junghans is 19 years old and still in one piece. It's had it's fair share of drops, bangs and scrapes over the years and is still in mint condition.

none.

Planning on taking the punt and buying the Ceramic Edition watch some time this week.

Now all of you who have it, would you recommend it? As my only concern is how it looks with other bands, I know with the latest keynote coming there are rumoured watch bands refresh, I just wish we could get some Ceramic Lugs to use with a leather band or something!

The stainless steel going against the Ceramic just don't look nice !

So I took the plunge and bought the Edition, but only concern is... I literally cannot swap the bands out, the Cloud Sport Band will not budge, of course I pressed down the button and tried to slide it out but literally no movement at all!!

Any pictures of the ceramic with the white leather loop from Apple? Do they match or are they a bit off color?

I got a 38mm Edition today and it's beautiful. I love the contrast with the black nylon band.

Just received my 42mm ceramic edition today, but the sport band attached is very loose on both ends. Is this normal, or should I ask for a replacement or refund? it makes a lot compared to my 38mm where everything is nice and tight.

Yeah, mine were super loose on the connections. I also had the Space Black, which was also loose. Think the sports bands just fit like that to be honest.

What do you mean by loose? The bands don't lock into the case? Or it's just loose fitting on your wrist?

I think they mean loose as in they even though they lock into place there is noticeable wobble from side-to-side. Pretty standard with the sports bands though, but was more obvious with the ceramic for me too.

Oh ok, I gotcha. Yeah, I think that is normal

I got my ceramic edition watch delivered this morning. I am loving this watch. If there ever was a watch that screams Apple, this one is it. My watch has the very slight band wiggle but nothing to be concerned about. I would have never noticed it if I haven't read about it on these forums.

Anyways, this is my third Apple watch purchase this week. I now have all the watches I currently want.

Metal lug tend to have little to no wiggle.
I don't think I have one apple of third party sports band, including the nikes, that don't have wiggle. Some more than other but no failures.

One part of the band on my Nike+ watch band wiggles just a bit. It happens. Not worried.

How about the Milanese bands and classic buckle - they have another lug. Do they wiggle / wobble :) ?
