Could not agree more. Why would you come on this thread just to talk about how the Watch looks like a feminine Watch, and men who wear it do so to show off they are rich? I am by no means rich, and also bought it because I think it looks amazing. I guess you will always have haters.

That's terribly silly. I was only wondering if my perception that it was a watch designed for women was something that others noticed. I've been following Apple's advertising and I have never seen them portray this watch on a man. I don't know why it was not offered in black or dark blue. Perhaps there is a limitation in the material.

No it's not silly, and where have you seen it advertised as a women's watch? I have seen plenty of dudes wearing the Watch.

The person I was referring to said that men that wore the Watch were only wearing because they wanted to show their wealth. I think that is more silly then anything I said.

I totally agree with the comments above. The watch looks feminine. Although I have the resource to buy it, the feminine look and the color prevented me from buying it. All men who are wearing it most likely want to show off they are rich and have money to buy the expensive watch. It is a status symbol for these men.:) and this looks pathetic and sad to me.

A status symbol? LOL that's some funny crap.
I bought a macbook pro because it makes me look rich.
My other status symbols include a toyota camry and tacoma.

I bought my iphone with 256G just to show off. Women are very impressed with the size.

That screams rich dude......LOL

Every Apple ad. for the watch shows a woman in a frilly dress wearing it. Here is one example: http://www.apple.com/apple-watch-series-2/. There are a couple of other examples on the Apple web site. I also see ads in commercial publications like "Miami Magazine" showing the same kind of thing. Try to find one photo that shows a man wearing this watch. I doubt that it can be done.

Alice Cooper was featured golfing with the Apple Watch. There is a magazine ad of a man working out with the stainless steel with link band. There is a Nick Jonas ad with him challenging his brother. That is just off the top of my head. It's also in several TV shows on men - Big Bang (Raj), Modern Family (Phil) - The Voice (Pharrell and Adam) - Suits (Mike)... The list is close to endless. It is marketed to both genders. Of course, those were SS models so that doesn't apply to white ceramic, but who cares.

All I can say is I disagree with you, and think your whole post looks pathetic and sad to me.
Sad that people come and post comments like his/her. Stating their opinion as if they are the source for what is "in" or status of gender. Probably someone that follows "stars" and looks to see if there is some sort of photoshopping going on so they can feel better about themselves. If you don't have something good to say about someone - refrain. Calling them a name is childish.

I personally wouldn't wear a white watch, but I think it looks good on men and women.

Seriously?

I don't see one ceramic edition Watch being worn by a women any that link you posted. You do realize you are in the ceramic edition section of this forum right?

There seems to be a good deal of confusion here. Many men wear Apple Watches. We are discussing the Edition ceramic watch. There are also photos on this thread of men wearing the ceramic watch. Nevertheless, I have never seen an example of a man wearing the ceramic watch in any of Apple's ads. on their site, or in magazines, or anywhere else. There is a picture of a woman in a frilly dress wearing an edition watch in the link I posted: http://www.apple.com/apple-watch-series-2/. There are other pictures like this on apple.com.

Every single picture in that ad is a women. So is every Apple version for a women? Why does Apple make a 42mm option for edition if it's just for females?

Many women wear 42mm. Apple watches. My wife has a 42mm, Edition watch. She finds the 38 mm. watch too difficult to navigate.

Ok so you answered one of my 3 questions. Mostly though 42mm are bought by men. Now your link you posted showed no males. How does that support you case at all, and second why are you posting in this thread in the first place? If you don't like the Watch, move along.

I have a gay friend that has a 42 ceramic, and he works for Apple. where does he fit in.

I had a reason for posting "in the first place," but we've long gone past that!

Yeah I think so, but I don't see anything from your previous post that would suggest anything other then trolling in this thread. Your first comment is about it being a feminine Watch. You knew guys on here had the Watch. You also knew that was not best comment to make. That is like saying the white faced iPhones are for girls and the black are for guys. Really makes not sense at all.

But comparing a watch to a phone does make sense?

I've been called a troll before. it's the most overused word on the Internet. Anyone wo raises a question that might arouse controversy on a "feel good" thread becomes a troll.

How does that not make sense? Both are based on the color of the device in making the statement.

I agree it's been over used, but there are clearly cases where it is true. You coming on this thread (which is for ceramic Apple Watch owners, not you but your wife), and then saying it's a feminine Watch to which a lot of the people posting are males that own the Watch. It sure sounds like a troll to me. What's your end game? Do you think you can convince us that we have feminine watches? I don't see the purpose other then to start an argument.

This is not the place for this kind of stuff. You could have started your own thread, or posted in one that is more appropriate. It really makes no sense to start that here, and then your whole argument is based off Apple ads. To which the only one you posted was one that had only females in it.

Yes, and a mouse is colored just like an elephant, not to mention that they are both mammals. This is not going anywhere and doesn't contribute to answering the question. I still believe the white watch is more appropriate for women, and obviously there are some people who don't agree. Nobody has posted a picture Or a link outside of this forum that shows a man wearing this watch, and I would be very surprised if anyone could find one. I can easily post other pictures showing women.

I like my underwear like my watches, made for women

Are you joking me? I just posted 3 pictures of males wearing the Watch. Did you just decide to pass over those? I am not sure why I am even bothering at this point. You are only reading the post you want to and leaving out the ones that don't make your point.

I'm sorry but I missed your explanation of where those pictures of the Edition watch came from and assumed that you took them yourself or that a friend sent them to you. Could you tell me again where they were published–give me a link or a source?

Look, I've been in the Apple Store near me. The Apple Store employees both male and female like the watch. I've spoked] with men that are looking at the watch for the wife/girlfriend.
Each time the men had the same initial reaction to the white watch as I did.
By the time they are done trying it on with different bands their skeptical opinions were changed to wow.

It's not a Rolex. It's not some big hunk of roundness.

I've worn mine with a polo, t-shirt, suit, or a dress shirt. It fits all occasions.

I love the look of the watch. Why in the world would apple purposely target the edition watch to one sex? That's a very risky business decision.

Obviously there have been enough people to buy it to keep it in demand.

Nice, though it may be a bit too masculine for me

There it is. Been seeing a few of your posts lately without mention of looking rich, just waiting for the other shoe to drop
