Since I have a multiple orders, one of which is just a phone case and two lightning-to-stereo dongles, I'm going to run a little experiment with UPS. That order shipped Friday from Ontario, CA and was originally scheduled to be delivered today. I requested that it be delivered to my nearest UPS store instead. When I initially did this the website popped up a dialog saying it would be delayed to tomorrow. But what do you know, it's now out for delivery and should be delivered to the store today.
Not sure if I'll have the guts to do this for my phone and watch orders, but this is encouraging. Like I said before, FedEx can handle this stuff without issue, so it really surprises me that UPS makes such a big deal out of it.
