What difference does it really make?
There is a lot of nervous energy being spent on here (yeah I am here too). But been through this enough with other Applie releases. Apple’s estimated delivery dates are generally very solid. Only once did I have a one day delay. Apple has more info than UPS is sharing. Many of the “still in Shanghai” people I bet your stuff is in transit and they are moving under a bulk (i.e. pallet) shipping number. Internally UPS knows where it is but the tracking details are not posted.
Mine is still “Preparing to ship” but still shows on Apple site for delivery Friday. I am confident they are moving but we won’t see tracking info until it clears Canada Customs. Once it finally shows up, then all the past scans will show. It has happpened before.
This is so true, every year same stuff different folks. One year people were bombarding UPS customer service, I felt so bad for them. I can imagine what those calls were like "Yea UPS? How dare you do your job and get it to me on time but not tell me every 20 minutes where it is in your system. THE NERVE! UPS SUCKS' Get a grip. Apple told you Friday, UPS says Friday, stop sweating the details..YOUR device is just another box in the system. It'll make it, enjoy the sunshine...
