Lucky you! You always had the 9/21 date listed too? My wife’s 40mm SS was always listed as 9/21 and is coming tomorrow. However, my SS 44mm SB has always been listed for 9/28-10/2 and just no movement.
I mean, I ordered as soon as you could....so I don’t think its that unreasonable to be baffled to not get day 1 shipping for it. SB 44mm seems to have been not available in the states for day 1.Well two of them will be here tomorrow.
Apple is very accurate on their ship date estimates. You might get it in the early part of the window but they aren’t suddenly (at least with very few exceptions) going to start blowing away the promised ship dates. In a few weeks they will either catch up.
That or people who ordered multiples in an effort to try and get one sooner will start cancelling their back up orders.
I get we all want to get them ASAP but honestly is a few extra days going to change your life that much? I was just thinking about getting the new watch. It will have Cellular which is new for me. It will have a larger face which is better for my old eyes. But at the end of the day I’ll put it on my wrist and glance at it when I need to and other than a few added functions life will be largely the same as it is with my S2 watch.
Well, my current status answered my question. Both my iPhone and Watch have just reported in from Louisville this morning (import scan). Here is the latest tracking info for the Watch...For those of us with watches that landed in Anchorage at the reported time of 4:48 PM this afternoon, it was either on flight UPS81 or UPS87. Now comes the interesting part...which flight from here? My iPhone XS Max (0.5TB) flew from Anchorage to Louisville today (from what I can gather).
UPS81 is now on its way to Ontario, CA (for us here in Southern California):

I know right? Lol. I like how he’s also questioning why a few more days will or wont matter for me. Personally, getting right away would help so I can get my existing watch to my mom, etc.I like how the guy who has TWO coming tomorrow is telling people to relax.
It was discussed here earlier that Apple likely allocates the available models to the various countries they are launching in simultaneously so that all the new models get to all markets. If true then you simply had bad luck of wanting a popular model in your country.I mean, I ordered as soon as you could....so I don’t think its that unreasonable to be baffled to not get day 1 shipping for it. Well I had to order one for my wife too.I know right? Lol. I like how he’s also questioning why a few more days will or wont matter for me. Personally, getting right away would help so I can get my existing watch to my mom, etc.
OK, so go to an Apple store, buy one and cancel your order?
I hope it works out for you, good luck.Possibly so. I chatted with an Apple person who tells me that they will have limited supplies at the store on launch day, but I think they will probably get something that I can walk-in and buy before my shipment date.
Just routinely logged into my bank account and noticed that my balance was credited the amount of my Apple Watch order and that the charge is no longer showing. I’m queued to speak with Apple support now and my order still appears to be processing. Anyone else ever experience this?

That’s what I figured. Just double checking. I’ve never opted for in-store pickup, but it makes sense that I wouldn’t actually be charged until actually getting the watch. That is normal, initial charge is just a hold. You will get a final charge when shipped.

Mines on the same plane. Holding for pickup at hubWell, my current status answered my question. Both my iPhone and Watch have just reported in from Louisville this morning (import scan). Here is the latest tracking info for the Watch...

I did the same and three orders - including one that was "delivered - left on porch" THIS PAST FRIDAY, came up. When I used my Zip Code - NADA.SO, you're correct in that I did not use a zip code when I tracked by reference number; when I try to do so I get this response from UPS:
UPS could not locate the shipment details for this tracking number. Details are only available for shipments made within the last 120 days. Please verify your information.
I'm wondering if you are right, and it's just a coincidence that its coming to the same state![]()
Anyone who ordered a Space Black SS 44mm/Sports Band Series 4 with the original delivery window of 9/28-10/2 get beyond "Order Being Processed"? My email confirmation was 9:04AM (we were in France at the time) and it still has not changed.
Thanks,
If I were you... I would do the apple one, but don’t cancel the other one. AFAIK, apple does not actually charge the account until it ships. Then, you just keep the order that ships first. What I am trying to figure out is why mine is going to take so long. I ordered mine from a furniture and electronic store here in Nebraska called Nebraska Furniture Mart. They gave me a delivery date of Sept 25th. A few days late but no big deal. Two days ago they changed the deliver date to 11/05/2018. My issue is I can order the same exact watch from Apple TODAY and have it here MID OCTOBER. Oh and they still have the space on my credit card tied up even though I won't see my merchandise for almost two months.
