Anyone know the flight going from Osaka? Just curious since most other flights seem to be from China or Korea.

Lucky you! You always had the 9/21 date listed too? My wife’s 40mm SS was always listed as 9/21 and is coming tomorrow. However, my SS 44mm SB has always been listed for 9/28-10/2 and just no movement.

Yep, it’s been 9/21 since ordering at about 2 minutes after pre-orders went live. Hope you get a bump and get it sooner!

Well two of them will be here tomorrow.

Apple is very accurate on their ship date estimates. You might get it in the early part of the window but they aren’t suddenly (at least with very few exceptions) going to start blowing away the promised ship dates. In a few weeks they will either catch up.

That or people who ordered multiples in an effort to try and get one sooner will start cancelling their back up orders.

I get we all want to get them ASAP but honestly is a few extra days going to change your life that much? I was just thinking about getting the new watch. It will have Cellular which is new for me. It will have a larger face which is better for my old eyes. But at the end of the day I’ll put it on my wrist and glance at it when I need to and other than a few added functions life will be largely the same as it is with my S2 watch.
I mean, I ordered as soon as you could....so I don’t think its that unreasonable to be baffled to not get day 1 shipping for it. SB 44mm seems to have been not available in the states for day 1.

For those of us with watches that landed in Anchorage at the reported time of 4:48 PM this afternoon, it was either on flight UPS81 or UPS87. Now comes the interesting part...which flight from here? My iPhone XS Max (0.5TB) flew from Anchorage to Louisville today (from what I can gather).

UPS81 is now on its way to Ontario, CA (for us here in Southern California):

While UPS87 is preparing to leave for Louisville:

Well, my current status answered my question. Both my iPhone and Watch have just reported in from Louisville this morning (import scan). Here is the latest tracking info for the Watch...

What I am trying to figure out is why mine is going to take so long. I ordered mine from a furniture and electronic store here in Nebraska called Nebraska Furniture Mart. They gave me a delivery date of Sept 25th. A few days late but no big deal. Two days ago they changed the deliver date to 11/05/2018. My issue is I can order the same exact watch from Apple TODAY and have it here MID OCTOBER. Oh and they still have the space on my credit card tied up even though I won't see my merchandise for almost two months.

I like how the guy who has TWO coming tomorrow is telling people to relax.

I know right? Lol. I like how he’s also questioning why a few more days will or wont matter for me. Personally, getting right away would help so I can get my existing watch to my mom, etc.

It was discussed here earlier that Apple likely allocates the available models to the various countries they are launching in simultaneously so that all the new models get to all markets. If true then you simply had bad luck of wanting a popular model in your country.

I got a SBSS44mm (and a Gold SS) with Sport Band at 3:05 Eastern but I am in Canada.

Well I had to order one for my wife too.

A popular saying is “it is what it is.” If mine didn’t come until next week I’d live normally. No amount of “crying foul” on an Internet forum is going to change anything. But I get that people want to vent.

OK, so go to an Apple store, buy one and cancel your order?

Possibly so. I chatted with an Apple person who tells me that they will have limited supplies at the store on launch day, but I think they will probably get something that I can walk-in and buy before my shipment date.

I hope it works out for you, good luck.

Just routinely logged into my bank account and noticed that my balance was credited the amount of my Apple Watch order and that the charge is no longer showing. I’m queued to speak with Apple support now and my order still appears to be processing. Anyone else ever experience this?

That is normal, initial charge is just a hold. You will get a final charge when shipped.

Usually the first charge is just a hold to let them know you have the funds. It drops off of hold and actually charges when it ships. In my experience the hold was removed near when my items would ship out.

That’s what I figured. Just double checking. I’ve never opted for in-store pickup, but it makes sense that I wouldn’t actually be charged until actually getting the watch.

my order still appears to be processing

Yeah, since you're doing In-Store Pick Up, your order will remain at "Order is Processing" until you get the "Ready for Pickup" email, which should come sometime today. Then tomorrow you can go pick it up at the time you selected.

SO, you're correct in that I did not use a zip code when I tracked by reference number; when I try to do so I get this response from UPS:

UPS could not locate the shipment details for this tracking number. Details are only available for shipments made within the last 120 days. Please verify your information.

I'm wondering if you are right, and it's just a coincidence that its coming to the same state :(
I did the same and three orders - including one that was "delivered - left on porch" THIS PAST FRIDAY, came up. When I used my Zip Code - NADA.
[doublepost=1537466709][/doublepost]Anyone with a 44mm Space Black SS (Black Sports Band) with originally the 9/28 - 10/2 get anywhere beyond "Order in Progress"? My email confirmation was 9:04AM (we were in France at the time so it the email came only 4 minutes into the preorder cycle).

Anyone who ordered a Space Black SS 44mm/Sports Band Series 4 with the original delivery window of 9/28-10/2 get beyond "Order Being Processed"? My email confirmation was 9:04AM (we were in France at the time) and it still has not changed.
Thanks,

Are we able to track Apple Watch bands before we get a shopping notification? Do they ship via ups too? I know this isn’t the forum board for that, but I know this has more action than over there.

Same watch, same confirmation, same status. :(

If I were you... I would do the apple one, but don’t cancel the other one. AFAIK, apple does not actually charge the account until it ships. Then, you just keep the order that ships first.
