Apple Pay on iPad Pro failed me it would not let me change to my credit card it wanted to use Apple Pay cash only. Switched to iPhone X and got 44mm space gray gps. Delivery by 9/21.
Was able to order via the app at 12:05

Ordered 4 watches and all coming on release day (along with two new Iphone Xs). Excellent ordering via the app.
hoping that they bump up the delivery date for it, I know its only a week but still.....
Noticed the same thing, so I'm doing something unprecedented for me: preordering elsewhere. Best Buy had the SS black 44mm for launch day delivery, so that's the route I went. We'll see how well that pays off.
GPS 40mm Space Grey Aluminium with Black Sport Loop, store came up about 6 minutes past on the app, went though as quick as I could but was undecided on the Band or Loop, thought I’d try the Loop this time as I have a couple of other straps if I don’t like it, delivered on the 21st.
I was a bit disappointed that it wouldn't come out on the 21st but I don't mind waiting. I love my Nike series 2 so it'll be worth the wait.
Ordered a 40mm SS GPS+LTE. Delivery 10/5 - 10/12. I was shooting for 9/28 as I’m out of the country until then, but hey, that’s not too bad. Traded in my S3 Aluminum for a $225 refund.
I wish they gave the choice for bands though. I’m not a big fan of the sport bands in general, and the white in particular.

Placed individual order for each: S4 gold SS 40 with stone band; iPXs gold 64gb; iPXs silver 64gb.
iPX Apple Store App was a little flaky or pages too sensitive as flipped back on me a couple times, had to start over twice. Changed shipping address to get silver delivered to daughter.
Took total 7 minutes, longest preorder time ever, all deliveries confirmed US by 9/21.
Went in later for Hermes Bordeaux/Rose Double tour, 0ct 5-12 delivery.

I just called Verizon to ask if they were going to get the stainless steel versions of the watches and they said no, what they have is what they’re getting and what they will be offering... So I guess only option for any of us looking to get the watches will be to go through Apple or Best Buy or whatever…
It happens, but just to a small percentage. I’m guessing cancellations and failed payment processing lead to some release day units being reallocated to others.
Got Sept 28-Oct 2 for my SS Series 4, wife SS Gold Series 4 launch day. Kind os bs, but can live with it.
