Pre-ordered a watch for my husband from B&H on 9/15. “Order processing” through this morning when it changed to “Backordered”! When I called, they said Apple pulled their orders until October 3, so he won’t get his watch until Oct. 5 or 8. Bummer. I wonder if that’s true about Apple holding up stock to them. Oh well.
I have the same BS going on with Nebraska Furniture Mart here in Omaha, NE. And no one knows anything etc. However, if you go to the Apple site and order one right now you can have it Mid Oct. It makes absolutely no sense!
My gold 44mm stainless watch was backordered until October 5th. After getting off work at 2pm, I headed over to the Apple store in Deer Park, Il on the slim chance they might have one in stock. After checking in, I was surprised to find they actually had most of the models in stock, including the 44mm model I wanted.
I am glad that you got one. However, that kind of defeats the purpose of a pre-order if people can walk in off the street and purchase them on release date and pre-orders aren't being filled first. (Not upset at the poster at all)
I hadn't heard about using the phone number. No result. My guess is that my Apple Watch is somewhere in Asia behind a buttload of others.
Truly disappointing. I wish Apple would just front load the products in-country so they're actually available on the day they claim to have them available.
That’s one I ordered. Originally was sept 24 delivery. Ups changed that yesterday to 21st but today it’s changed back to 24th. Wish they woulda just left at 24th because it made me get my hopes up today where prior to all this I was expecting 24th.
I agree. I figured the chances were slim that they’d have any S4 watches of any variety. I think they were out of one of the gold aluminum models and maybe one more. Maybe that particular store got lucky. I was there a total of 10 minutes, including my time in line.
My 44mm Gold Aluminum has been out for delivery since 8:50am. I should’ve had it held at the hub and picked it up at noon when I got off work.
So my phone and watch were delivered. No one was home to sign for them and UPS did actually leave them. I had my neighbor go up to put the boxes in the back so they weren’t in plain site
Maybe I’ll get mine Monday. That’s a tentative date. I may go to my local Apple store and see if they have it in stock. If they do I’ll be pissed.
Anybody else pre order thru Verizon? My order was processing till about 1230am pST.... then it finally set to ship and sent me my label saying it’s shipping from TN to Tacoma, WA overnight with a eta of today by 8pm... tracking in both watches say label was created and still awaiting pickup.... fed ex already delivered my wife’s XS Max... I’m assuming it’ll be on a diff fed ex since it’s overnight... but do you it’s picked up and enroute just maybe the scan hasn’t updated.... or maybe they will pick it up and it’ll depart TN in a bit and they’ll rush it to be here in the next 6 hours.... or are we deferring to tomorrow or Monday? Any of those 3 seem like realistic possibilities...
Mine was in my town as of this morning and I asked for it to be held at the warehouse, I show up, they say it’s not there and was loaded on a truck. She’s said she’ll message the driver and ask if he can swing by

Went to Apple just now, and they did have the SS gold 40 mm. One left. I compared the 40 & 44 while I was there. I like the 44 better, but Ordered the 40.
I was out doing errands and got the text message from UPS about map tracking the delivery. I was at the store and it was 10am and clicked on the link. Low and behold the UPS truck showed to be outside. I kindly asked the driver if I could have my package and he kindly told me no lol..... He said he would be in my neighborhood later today. 5pm and I’m still waiting. On the flip side Fedex delivered our 2 new XSM phones
Mine arrived at 4:55pm. I have the 44mm Gold Aluminum which look like it have a tiny bit of pink like the Rose Gold, especially with the Pink Sand Sport Loop, which is wanted

I think this will be my first Apple Watch! I can't really decide if i should get the Nike Edition in Silver with the Sports Band or SportsLoop. I would appreciate it, if anyone could share their personal experience with one of these bands. I just tried the SportsLoop a few times and it was really comfortable. However, i never tried the SportsBand.
