My Oct 5-12 44mm switched to Preparing To Ship today. What a surprise!

Congratulations! I got an Oct 8 - Oct 15 delivery window with a 3:11 AM EST Sep 14 confirmation e-mail. Your post gives me hope that the shipping status of my order will change soon. I ordered two Apple Watch Series 4 (GPS + Cellular), 44mm Stainless Steel Case, with White Sport Band.

I think this will be my first Apple Watch! I can't really decide if i should get the Nike Edition in Silver with the Sports Band or SportsLoop. I would appreciate it, if anyone could share their personal experience with one of these bands. I just tried the SportsLoop a few times and it was really comfortable. However, i never tried the SportsBand.

I have both bands and prefer the Sports Loop. It is so comfortable compared to the Sports Band. No matter how loose I make the Sports Band, it always feel tight and stuck to my wrist, especially when it’s hot outside.

Picked up my 44mm silver aluminum GPS/LTE and it is gorgeous! I love the new screen...both size and the incredible display! Busy checking out all of the new watch faces and complications.

After seeing so many people opt for the SS, I thought I made a mistake in choosing Aluminum, but I’m happy I made that decision. I always had a screen protector on my S2, so I’ll be doing the same to keep the screen scratch free.

Yeah that sapphire crystal glass display and the fact that stainless steel gold looked so gorgeous was my reasoning. I've had 3 apple watches one silver AL and two gold AL. It's but time for that gold SS Milanese!! Just need a dang update.

I’ll probably opt for SS with my next Apple Watch upgrade. Next year I’ll upgrade my iPhone X and keep my watch on a every 2 year upgrade.

Still waiting 740 pm here now. I know the UPS deliveries are often really late to our building, I think 2 yrs ago I didn’t get my iPhone 7 Plus until 830 pm or so.

I have both as well...I may be in the minority but I prefer the Sports Band to the Loop...Not by much, and it probably just comes down to getting the watch on and off...lol. With the Band, I can lay the watch on my wrist, and with one hand run the band under into the other band...clasp and its on. The loop is just a little more of a task...pull the loop through and around with another...But the watch sort of rotates around your wrist while doing all this...You get it snug, then you have to put the watch back in place, then tighten the loop...Like I said, a minor thing...But both are nice, in their own ways...

Another minor thing between the two...The loop connects to the watch straight in...think a long rectangle into the sides...Makes the rectangular shape of the watch stand out more. The Band, flares out to the sides where it meets the watch somewhat...Just a cleaner look to me...

I'm talking about the Nike sports band, with the holes...not the standard Apple one...

This is my first adventure with the sport loop, normally I go with a normal sport band just because I’m an active guy at work and around the house.

This time I opted for the sport loop, and while it is incredibly comfortable, I find it more annoying to put on and take off. (Minor complaint, I know.) I am planning on ordering several other bands, but I want to put this one through some paces and see.

I just purchased the sport loop for my series 4 when I get it. I put it on my series 2 for now, and so far I really like it. Don't care to much for the sports band because it slides to the end of my wrist. Never stays in place.

My watch gets here Oct 2. My iPhone was delayed and is delivery date unknown. And Juuk (I own three bands) emailed today to say that their bands DON’T work with series 4 as they are machined too tight, and it’ll take them at least 1-2 months to machine new lugs and get them out. Good day all around.

The UPS app now says my packages are being held for delivery on a future date, very disappointing.

What a fiasco

5 minutes after pre sale and left waiting for the watch
Yet Apple stores have supply.

Not good customer appreciation.

I was ordering essentially immediately when it became possible to at 301 am last week. I waited all day for the delivery and then nada! I don’t blame Apple, I blame UPS. They should have been able to deliver today, there is no good excuse.

I got a delivery date of Oct 5 - 12, fingers crossed it comes sooner...... As of posting, I am still at the same dates. Here I am stalking my watches again. I know I am pathetic. o_O

If the watches don’t get to them, they can’t ship.

I blame Apple 100% on this one

Watch was delivered close to 7pm here after I got an e-mail overnight saying it might be delayed.

All hail the efficient logistics system!

So UPS dropped the ball today. My watch was on the truck at 9:00am, and I waited around all day (I was going to be home anyway) but 1st delivery attempt was not made until 9:07pm (while I was out at dinner). 12 hours later?! I can only assume that they were very swamped today but it's frustrating.

Rant aside, how do I get it tomorrow? I want to pick it up first thing in the morning, but I don't know where it is. I want them to just keep it wherever it is, and I will come pick it up tomorrow. How do I do this without knowing where it is?

edit: customer support said it is past business hours, so too late to hold package BUT they will be reattempting delivery tomorrow!

Anybody else pre order thru Verizon? My order was processing till about 1230am pST.... then it finally set to ship and sent me my label saying it’s shipping from TN to Tacoma, WA overnight with a eta of today by 8pm... tracking in both watches say label was created and still awaiting pickup.... fed ex already delivered my wife’s XS Max... I’m assuming it’ll be on a diff fed ex since it’s overnight... but do you it’s picked up and enroute just maybe the scan hasn’t updated.... or maybe they will pick it up and it’ll depart TN in a bit and they’ll rush it to be here in the next 6 hours.... or are we deferring to tomorrow or Monday? Any of those 3 seem like realistic possibilities...

Ok to piggy back on my previous post.... tracking finally updated and says tomorrow by noon.... boooo

Apple dropped the ball with the watches altogether. I stayed up all night and ordered as soon as the store went live. There is no excuse that I do not have my SS watch today. It's just kind of crappy. Instead it finally got a tracking today (well yesterday) and sounds like its stuck in customs in China (yayyy). I did a little googling and it sounds like when it says the "clearance in progress" most people have it stuck there for 3-4 days. FUN. Why doesn't Apple get these products into the states quicker? Or allow more in store pick up options when people order online. I had no choice but to choose delivery, and it didn't get me anywhere. This year has been bad luck for me.

The funny part is, I ordered Apple Care on my wife's and my watch. They have been active for days, yet no watch, whats up with that? How can they activate the apple care before we a) have the watch and b) before the watch is even released?
