My watch, due for Nov 9-16 delivery, still hasn't seen any updates. Sigh.
Where are you from? I'm from the U.S. and the original delivery was between Nov 9-16. It shipped a couple days ago with the delivery scheduled for Nov 2nd now. Still awaiting Clearance since yesterday though.
If I were you I'd go on istocknow.com, set up an alert for the model you want for your nearest Apple Store and when one pops up buy it on the web/via the Apple Store app for in-store pickup. You should easily get one before the Vodafone one arrives and you should still be able to set it up to use it on Vodafone.
Mine shipped last night with a tentative delivery date of Monday. Currently at the clearing agency awaiting final release as of 7:12 AM 10/31.

Funny: half an hour after posting, it changed to preparing for ship and now I got an e-mail that is has been shipped.

I wouldn’t give up yet. Mine just got to Shanghai this morning and it went from the 12th to the 5th on Apple’s site for delivery plus UPS is showing Monday. But I guess that all depends on how fast they clear.
I have yet to order my watch...first because I can’t make up my mind about the size but second it’s because the delivery date is all the way out to Nov 29th at this point! . Would it be better to watch the stores like a hawk and see if one comes in? Or order online (once I finally make up my mind about the size) and wait it out....not so patiently.

Yup, can be picked up on 11/2. Bummer I won't be able to get it until Monday but well, still one week earlier than expected.
If you’re getting a Nike+ version, just order it on Nike.com. You can have it delivered in 3-4 days.
Mine went from an original date of Nov. 7-14, to Nov. 5 after being shipped, and then to Nov. 2 on both the Apple and UPS sites. It was showing as being at the clearing agency in Shanghai as of 7:21 AM yesterday and is still shown there. It now shows as "Scheduled Delivery: information unavailable" in UPS and the Apple site has changed it back to Nov. 12.
Frustrated.
I got past clearing this morning and got an export scan from Shanghai. My delivery date changed from Nov. 2 to Nov 6.

I heard it starts the day your Watch is first activated. But you could always ask them to have it start from the day you receive it.
Hey, I don’t know if you or anyone else is interested, but I just ordered S4 SS 44mm online from ABT about 45 minutes ago. They have them in stock (not the SB or Gold, though), and I should be receiving it on Monday. Also saved about $65.00 in sales tax, since they don’t charge for it in Texas! There are several states where sales tax is not collected. Going to return my Gold aluminum to Apple tomorrow, along with 2 watch bands. So happy, since I wanted SS to begin with, and nobody had any. ABT has been around a long time, and they are a reputable company. It’s already out for shipping!
Actually, I just looked on the Apple website regarding AppleCare for the watch and it does state that you get two years of coverage from your AppleCare purchase date, so some of my AppleCare time is being used up while it was in production and now sitting in China. I never noticed that before, but in the future, I won't buy it at the time I place my order. I'll wait until I actually receive and activate it or sometime within the 60 day period.
