Seth Rogan looks nothing like Steve Wozniak. They should have gotten Curtis Armstrong instead.

Yeah I know what you mean, it's like man, in real life, Charlize Theron didn't look anything like the girl she played in the movie Monster. You know the movie for which she won a freaking OSCAR!

Have you not heard of costumes, makeup and special effects. They do have people who work in these fields, sometimes, they even give them awards if they do a good job.

/s I love shallow brained tools who can't look past their own thoughts to see why a casting agent would pick a person for a role, beyond just looks.

I doubt this is bothering Steve. Either he ceased to exist totally, in which case this won't disturb him, or he's moved on to another plane of existence, in which case he's not likely concerned about things as trivial as movies on earth.

Ya, your probably right....

If you wanna start doing movies, then u may as well start with steve jobs memorabilia too.

I don't mind maybe one movie, but seriously, how long can this last.... Will it be never ending saga for the rest of time ?

The first movie (with Kutcher) never should have been made.

This one is based on the Isaacson's biography, which Steve Jobs himself asked Isaacson to write when he knew he didn't have much time left. This is definitely the movie that should be made.

It's a near certainty that Jobs realized the likelihood that books and movies would be made about his life, and he wanted to give the story from his perspective straight to one of the best biographers of our time. The fact that part of Hollywood will be enriched in telling the story does nothing to dishonor Jobs' memory. The writing, directing, and acting talent that have been brought on board all point to a top-notch production, and it seems like they're taking steps to ensure that Jobs is portrayed authentically.

not so sure about this...

Queue up all the d*ck, fart, and weed jokes if Seth Rogen makes the casting.

Damn, they nailed the cast so far! Finally a legit Steve Jobs' movie!

Christian Bale will transform himself, he's good. I like Bale better for this role then Leonardo Decaprio. Not that Decaprio wouldn't be great, but I think Bale will nail it!

Seth, will make the perfect Woz in my opinion, and with The Woz on set keeping it accurate is going to be great.

I think these two guys will make it something to see!

I watched the the movie with Ashton Kutcher playing Jobs, and while I liked the movie, it took a while to get over the fact it was Kutcher playing Jobs. Kinda felt like it was a little insulting, to "The Man", Steve Jobs!

Steve Jobs deserves a top notch actor, one of the best to play him!
I think Cristian Bale is up there as one of the better actors, he seems to very dedicated to his roles.

Yes, I've heard Bale can be a dick, so what, we all can.;)

Wrong person. There are 2 Steves that founded Apple, Buddy.

LF******OL! LMFAO!

Every time I hear his name I have flashbacks to Age Of Empires. Some units said "rogan" when you issued them a command.

My guess on Chastain is that she'd be playing Job's daughter, Lisa Brennan, from his younger years.

The resemblance is definitely there and would be a dramatic plot point as Jobs (per Issacson's biography) felt much regret for how he neglected her during her childhood and even named the Lisa computer after her.

Seth Rogen will play Steve Wozniak alongside Christian Bale, who has been cast in the role of Steve Jobs in Sony's upcoming Jobs biopic, reports Variety. Rogen will have the opportunity to get advice directly from Wozniak, who is working as a consultant on the film.

Rogen is a popular actor who has starred in movies like Neighbors, 22 Jump Street, and This Is the End. While Rogen often stars in comedic films, he has demonstrated his ability to do more serious work in movies like Take This Waltz and 50/50.

After several months of limbo after writer Aaron Sorkin finished the screenplay, production on Sony's Steve Jobs movie is picking up. Danny Boyle, who directed Slumdog Millionaire has been announced as the director of the film, and just last week, Sony signed on Christian Bale to play Jobs.

While the previous JOBS movie with Ashton Kutcher focused on Jobs' early life, Sony's film will use material from Walter Isaacson's Steve Jobs biography and will focus on three 30-minute scenes showing three of Apple's product launches.

Update: According to TheWrap, Rogen is not yet officially signed on, while Jessica Chastain is also being considered for an unspecified role in the film.

If that's the case, there will probably be alot of reflection in each of the three scenes. I don't see Rogan playing the current Woz, but more of an "early Apple" Woz. I predict this movie is gonna be awesome. I want the Jobs movie to be done right. Don't know if this will be as good as Ashton's. The best part of that movie was that homeless man that played Woz.

woz was like 5 inches shorter than this idiot

Yes, that is going to completely ruin it. Because everyone knows how tall Steve Wozniak is. :roll eyes:

(Seriously, you know every shot of Wozniak in the movie is going to be him in a chain hunched over a circuit board with a soldering iron anyway.)

Why is Steve Wozniak in this movie at all?

The entire idea behind this movie just seems terrible... I don't feel like it'll be remotely possible to relate to anyone in it.
