Mine should be here tomorrow but I am going to wait until the oleo I just installed needs a replacing

How easy does this scratch compared to the iPhones screen? Is It more resistant? Less?

Has anyone had major problems with chipping on the sides of the glas.t? I have no interest in buying a lipped case to protect the sides of the glas.t, and I certainly don't want the sides chipping.

Has anyone had chipping issues with the glas.t on the iphone 5 or 4/4s? I plan on a desmay slight/glas.t combo. If the glas.t is too susceptible to chipping, then I'll go with a naked screen or possibly order a spigen ultra crystal.
I'm wondering the same thing, would anyone know?

Thanks!

is there a thread which lists the cases that will work with the glass.t? I'm thinking of getting it but not sure which cases will work with it. would a regular bumper work with it as well?

From my personal experience, these cases are compatible:

Speck Candyshell
Speck Fabshell
Speck Pixelskin HD
Case-Mate Pop!
Case-Mate Tough
Otterbox Commuter
Casecrown Lux snap on case

Still waiting on a bumper so I would half to get back on if it fits or not.

Thank you so much! Please let me know about the bumper!

Do any retail stores carry this or do you have to order it online? Spigen's site say it's out of stock but amazon says it's in stock. If im going to buy this i want to put it on asap since i just got a new iphone 5 today.

Show us your setup when all is done! :)

I myself are just going for something simple as a silicone case and the glass.t + sleeve since I wanna have the phone "naked".
Here ya go!

Still waiting on my bumper to come in the mail. Target didn't have any black ones when I last went in there.

I received my Glas.t yesterday and was going to return it after learning that it might not fit perfectly with the otterbox defender (I sent a message to the person who made it work and he stated that the sides lock in but the top and bottom do not). I took a chance and installed it anyway. Almost a perfect install as I had a small speck of dust on the edge...no big deal. I took off the defender screen protector and put my phone in and to my surprise it fully locked around the phone. As mentioned before the home button is a bit harder to press down, but its not bad at all.

Perfect combo for me. I hated the defender screen protector and do not like other plastic screen protectors. This one feels like the actual glass.

I have a perfectly installed (no dust, perfect alignment) on my iphone 5, and despite the trouble I've had with the defender in the past, it's still one of my favorite cases.

What you did is exactly what I'm looking to do with the defender case I get today. The built-in screen protector is a joke. I'm hoping my case winds up fitting as yours did. If you have trouble getting the glue/adhesive off from where the built-in screen protector was, just get a pencil eraser and rub it off like crazy.

When you say the home button is hard to press down, is that with the otterbox defender, or because you have the jellybean button from the glas.t installed?

It's becuase you have to press the button deeper since the glass lifts the rubber button farther away from the iphone button. I just recently corrected it by simply stacking 2 small squares of post-it correction/cover up tape on top of the iphone button (I didn't install the jellybean). Now the button works like before.

Want to add it fits feather shine and Belkin Grip Candy

With the Belkin Grip candy it fits so precise that I applied the screen on with the case on. Perfect alignment. Also it's screen protector is flush with the case. Case is slippery as hell though.

I did get 3 speck of dusk under screen protector though, did everything from hot shower, cleaning screen, tap taping screen for residue dusk.

Just got mine, installs really easy and it's incredible. Feels better than the naked screen.

To everyone who successfully installed this thing, what is the correct procedure to put it on????

When I got my Glas.t, it had a "front" tab sticker, and a "back" tab sticker. I pulled on the back tab and it wasnt actually attached to anything but the "glass" itself and the tab came off without removing any film. I looked at the "glass" on this surface and it was scratched up so I'm assuming there should have been some film to remove?

I then pulled on the "front" tab and it removed a sheet of film so I assumed this was the adhesive.

In the instructions, and a video I saw on youtube, they just lined up the glass above the actual iphone and then slowly placed it down onto the screen and then pressed in the center and the adhesive spread out and it just looked like a normal screen without a protector on it. When I attempted this, all I got was a bubble in the center and that was it: http://i49.tinypic.com/353e0s5.jpg

That was 2 days ago, today it now looks even worse like this: http://i49.tinypic.com/2n8an86.jpg

Any help would be appreciated.

Once you removed that "back" film is when you should have adhered it to the phone's glass screen. Once you smooth it out, then you remove the "front" film cover, which exposes the part of the screen protector that you would make contact with when using the phone.

I THINK you installed it with the wrong side down

No the back tab is the adhesive and the film should have come off with the tab. So based on this, you actually have the front of the glas.t pressing against the iphone. Try taking a piece of scotch tape and tape it to the side where the tab came off without the film and leave a part of the tape off to the side hanging (should be the "top" now since you installed it upside down). Lift off the glas.t (from the phone) then use the tape to take off the film. Flip the glas.t and re-install.

I can try that but it actually took a lot of force to yank the "back" tab off the plastic and the tab came off without any film so I wonder if no adhesive and film were ever applied? I tried using a finger nail to see if i could lift any film but it really feels like nothing is there, i could try a piece of tape tonight i guess.

So there Should be two pieces of film that come off correct? When a tab is removed, it removes a piece of film? Then to apply it the glas.t, you hover it over the actual screen for alignment, lower it down flat onto the screen and then press in the center and the adhesive grows and applies it to the phone correct?

Does anybody of you got a spare home button sticker (for black iPhone) ?

Thank you

Correct, there should be 2 pieces of film on both sides.

To install, gently lower it on to the phone. Once the glass lands, you have time to shift it around to position it correctly as the adhesive doesn't adhere right away. Press the center and the adhesive should stick. Squeeze out any pockets of air. Hope this helps.

I had this problem with their plastic protectors. The back tab came off without the film which confused me and I did the exact same thing, and installed wrong side down. With a finger nail, you should be able to find and separate the layer that should have come off with the tab.

With the plastic, mine was ruined and I got it right on the second one. I would think that with the glass.t, you could reclean the phone surface and install correctly - just don't scratch the top with the squeegee since the protection layer is off.

Over the weekend, had a huge accident with my phone. I was running late and ran out to my garage and tripped over something, sending my phone falling and skidding across the asphalt. With tears in my eyes, I carefully examined my phone, to find my screen cracked and the sides of my phone dented. THEN I realized that I had a GLAS.t screen protector on there. I was hoping to GOD that it was the screen protector and not the actual screen that was broken. Well, as you can see from the photos, it was NOT the screen that was broken, but the GLAS.t. :D:D:D Suffice it to say, I'm a very happy camper and I will be ordering another pronto! The only thing was I did not have a case with me when I dropped it and the sides of my phone DID get dented. But oh well, live and learn  Will never take my phone out of my cases. Ever Again.
