I'm getting another glas.t shipped my way and I'm going to try a reinstall after a hair gave me problems the first time around. Has anyone had major problems with chipping on the sides of the glas.t? I have no interest in buying a lipped case to protect the sides of the glas.t, and I certainly don't want the sides chipping.

Has anyone had chipping issues with the glas.t on the iphone 5 or 4/4s? I plan on a desmay slight/glas.t combo. If the glas.t is too susceptible to chipping, then I'll go with a naked screen or possibly order a spigen ultra crystal.

How did you successfully trap a hair in there? Ure such a noob :)

On a more serious note I do pray to god that Iam not getting fired at by karma right now. Hopefully Ill have my glass.t ready for review later this week.

I wont take my phone outside til those cases are falling in.

My setup:

Glass.t
Backprotector (havent found out which one yet)
Silicone case
Pouch/Sleeve - Most likely the Transit zipper case from Element. The colcasack for temporary use.

Why would it? None of the aluminium case from Element overlaps onto the screen of the phone.

I'm wondering if the Sector case will expose the Glas.t edge. According to the SGP site, the edges are prone to chipping they recommend a case that protects the edge.

I just applied the SGP Oleophobic and it does feel a bit like plastic to me. I used the PS Anti Glare on my previous 4s. I loved that feel but it did degrade the image quality. Maybe I'll try the Glas.t, but want to know how it works with the Sector first.

Not sure about the Sector case but both of my two previous case from Element, the Vapor and Pro, has a slight lip that prevents the screen from coming into contact with table surfaces when placed screen down. The Sector will likely be the same.

Who tried iMuse glass tempered for iPhone 5,mentioned 0.4mm with 10H hardness...?

Price around $25.99 FS

I almost want a lifeproof case (for full protection and still being thin) and cut out the screen protector and put this on. I am not concerned about the waterproofing aspect. That would be awesome, but expensive and I hate altering a factory screen shield.

I LOVE IT!!!! it came in the mail today and i just did a PERFECT install...

no dust, no hairs, no bubbles underneath and OMG seriously.... i don't think i'll ever go back to regular protectors!!!

my only gripe(s) are the home button is recessed and you def notice but i guess it's not a bad trade off (i don't think i'll use those jelly buttons... they feel weird to me). also, my glas.t already had 2 scratches on it  oh well... better the glas.t than my phone but that was disappointing. for the price i paid i would have expected an un-scratched product. i'm not sure if i should shoot them an email but here's the pic:

as you can see there's that hairline scratch to the right of the earpiece (looks like a horizontal streak) and the other is that 1mm(?) scratch towards the bottom edge. and yea i kept the plastic film on top when i used the squeegee so it's definitely not my fault. but do i recommend this product??? hell yea i really do!!! but it's def not for the faint of heart and you better be damn sure you're VERY careful if you don't want any dust underneath.

i used the hinge method (it's on youtube.. first time that i used it), i wore gloves (i always wore gloves when i installed protectors... make sure the gloves have no powder residue or w/e) AND i was 'constantly' using those canned air dusters. i DIDN'T install in the bathroom btw.

Finally ordered my Glast for my iPhone 5. :3

Anyone know if it works with the Incipio Frequency? Kinda loving this case :p

Alright so in the replacements I was sent from Spigen, the little notice in the packaging said I could "repurpose" the flawed glas.t's from my original order on the back panel of the iPhone 5...Anyone tried it yet? Not sure how it'd look with the cutouts in weird places.

Received and just applied mine. Some thoughts,

1) the feel of this screen protector is unreal. It's as good if not better then the naked screen.

2) the home button takes some getting use to. Personally, I dislike the included buttons.

3) very resistant to fingerprints but does not diminish clarity of the screen like an Antiglare protector would.

Overall, wonderful product.

They were joking. Did you also use it to slice apples as they suggested?

I received my replacement from them with the correct fit on the iPhone 5. The adhesive is bad in larger corner area. I took high res photos, sent them all the information, and days later, still no response. Their customer support is not very fast at all.

You probably let your fingers touch that area when applying. Try to squeegee it down and push down a little. It should settle in.

My fingers never touched the back side. It's a flawed piece. I've installed these several times in the past, and I'm extremely OCD about it.

I got the Bodyguardz PURE glass and I'm not liking it either. I'm losing touch response on my screen, edges won't stick to the iPhone and bubble, and its just really hard to install. It's not worth the money IMO. I'm happy with their full body installs but not the glass protector. I didn't touch the bottom of mine neither after reading this thread before putting the screen. Very disappointing. The clarity though is pretty awesome too bad I'm gonna remove it.

What SGP replacement policy on their shields?

I got one for the 4s when they first came out. Got major scratches after a few days. Sent it back for refund cause it wasn't sticking in places.

12 days later from when I emailed them about the defective protector they sent me and still no replacement.

Just emailed them back complaining. They have my money and sent out my original protector very quickly. Now they owe me a replacement and they are very slow...

The bottom right corner of the protector didn't stick. Looks like crap... And I put it on perfectly and never touched the back of it at all.

damn that sucks. maybe it's been fixed since then, especially for iphone5. tbh, right now it's holding up REALLY well. i haven't seen any other scratches other than the ones it came with. adhesive is holding up as well. the oleophobic coating is phenomenal! it feels like it's way better than the naked iphone. the clarity is also amazing and like i said, other than the home button being depressed (i've gotten used to it actually), and the difficulty of the install (it's not hard per se, but more like you REALLY need to take your time and have careful planning if you want a perfect install), there's really nothing bad about the glas.t.

this would be perfect if it was 50% thinner imo but this is definitely my favorite protector of all time. i'm using a speck candyshell case and it's a perfect match. the edge still retain the lay on table aspect.

i'm very happy... i have a FLAWLESS install and it seriously is just amazing. i'm a bit ocd and when i say flawless, i really mean it :D

i really like these, but i want to know something about the adhesive on the back. Is it stronger than standard protectors? like i am worried that if you leave these on for a long time and then take them off, will it remove the oleophobic coating from the phone too?

how strongly are these stuck down to the screen?

Thankfully for me mine came in and I had a 99% perfect install. I tiny speck of dust that you can barely tell is there and I'm a little misaligned on the home button but not too bad. Thankfully even with the misalignment all of my cases work flawlessly with this screen protector. Now I just need a bumper style case to show off the carbon fiber lucky labs skin I put on the back.

Show us your setup when all is done! :)

I myself are just going for something simple as a silicone case and the glass.t + sleeve since I wanna have the phone "naked".

Drat, got one spec of dust too. Oh well, it isn't terribly obvious, I'll live with it.

Fits great with the Incipio Frequency, perfectly cut to fit within the case. Love it :D
