SGP NEO HYBRID EX is now available

The InvisibleShield style skins don't adhere to the glass back of the iPhone 4 as well as they did to the plastic backed 3G/3GS, and in fact, are very easy to pull off the glass. I routinely pull my BestSkinsEver (same material as the Zagg product) on and off my iPhone 4, and just store it on a piece of waxed paper when I'm not using it. The adhesive on the back of the carbon skin would probably bond to the plasticy material of the Zagg, and pull both off very easily.
I didn't know about that, good info. I think ill just leave off the zagg then.

Thanks everyone else for your input.

I just got mine in satin silver. It's very nice. I wanted a Vapor or Alumacase, but I wasn't going to be one of the first to try one. Given that, this case was next best thing.

I like the minimalist look to it. Nothing looks better than an iPhone 4 naked. it's low profile with the metal band/antenna. This is pretty close to that look. Installation was easy. I read that the plastic band may break and people were having trouble. For me, not even close. I read the directions, which I just threw away and it states that after putting on the silicone band, put the plastic band, both top corners so you can get the buttons out of the way, and then at the same time push the bottom corners down. I think that is to not twist the really thin part for the big cut out. That was different than what Larry Greenberg's review stated.

I really like the slightly raised silicone ring around the glass, top and bottom. It lifts it off the table surface. The buttons are fine. I have only one complaint. The plastic band is really slippery.

I"m thinking I'm going to spend another $27 for the SGP invisible shields for just the body (metal band). I had that protecting my phone before I got the EX Hybrid. But, I liked the feel of it and how grippy it was.

Maybe some pine tar.

Received mine today ...

Thank you for the photos! Looks awesome! How long did it take for you to receive it after you placed your order?

And the screen protector does look matte but it looks good. Maybe I'll try a matte film.

That's the same color I ordered, but still waiting for delivery from Cretouch, which was supposed to ship yesterday. They don't seem to update the order information on the website, so hopefully it will get here before the weekend.

The yellow looks really nice and I also ordered a "carbon fiber" back. :D

I bought it from Singapore through a friend. Not through CreTouch. ;) Here's few more under better lighting condition ... :)

Any photoshop pros out there willing to do a mockup with the yellow one shown here with a white back? I'm digging the yellow but I'm not sure I want to put away the white back I paid 90 bucks for:D

I got my Milano Red Ex today. I put on the Stienheil backing that came with the case. I am experiencing bubbling at the edge of the protector. Anyone else experiencing this?

Got mine today and it is so much better than Apple's Bumper.

Fits perfectly with Power Support Front & Back overlays. No lifted edges.

The apple bumper doesn't support PS screens?? I have a couple on order and use the bumper...

No, PS screens fit perfectly with the apple bumper also. You're good to go.

Nice! That's exactly what I needed to see since I just installed a white back as well! Thanks for the photo and review. By any chance would you happen to have the white back with any different colors of the neo hybrid ex case?

Sorry mate, unfortunately i do not have the white back or any other color case. Even this mockup i did a quick photoshop but i guess if you let me know the color combination i could photoshop it for you so you can get an idea?

Let me start by saying that the Dante Red is nice looking.

That said, SGP really screwed up an opportunity to improve on the Apple bumper. All this case needed to do was to recreate the Apple bumper, but be tighter. Well, its tighter but there is ZERO tackiness to it. So, it does not fee secure in the hand, and you absoultely cannot place this at any angle, where it will not slide (like on an excersize bike at the gym).

Huge let down....does SGP acually try these things before the order for the masses. Unless I can compensate with an e-grip, it will go back.

Also they need to offer these types of cases without screen protectors. Many of us already have the type we like, and I dont like paying for something I am not going to use.

This is a $5 to $10 bumper.
