Just got my Steinheil EX set today and installed:

First impressions: GREAT! Very similar to the old PS crystal set I had for my 3G, although I can say that I like this one better. The cutouts are actually better than my old PS set. They are closer cut to the home button and the speaker, so it is not as noticeable. I had previously purchased the Wrapsol set and was very disappointed with the feel of the material and the general look/cutouts. SGP really did a good job and I'm happy with the films so far. No trouble sticking and I didn't have trouble with lint under the film because I used the steamy bathroom technique. Overall I would recommend the SGP films because of the ease of installation (static cling) and the overall clarity.

adoba, your install looks perfect.

I tried getting a replacement from sgp since Im having issues and they will only send me a replacement if i send the old one back

I asked if they could send me a new one and then i would send the defective one back (not sticking around home button) and of course they wouldnt reply.
This is how IS does it.

Well anyways, I have a switch easy nude en route, once i get that, i will use their screen protector and just return the sgp for a refund.
I do plan to get a PS once it becomes available.

Which one should I get if I don't like finger prints, but still want to show off the awesome screen?

Aw ok. How many come with the package of those? Is it 2 or 1? I really need at least 2 because I always frack at least one up when trying to install it..

all are dry troyboy

thanks, i prefer the dry

have been waiting on power supports front/back kit but no clue when its going to be out

why do they have so many types! I'm going to have to read this entire thread again to figure out the diff in all of them

I was planning to order one of these before I actually get my iphone 4, but my question would be how does these effect the front camera?

Everyone on here that has the glossy version or the anti-finger print version if you guys wouldnt mind giving your feed back on the front camera.

Thanks!

ok reading the thread again didnt help

whats the diff between the

SGP Steinheil EX Ultra Crystal for Apple iPhone 4 (High-Definition Full Body Protection Film Set)

SGP Incredible Shield ULTRA COAT for Apple iPhone 4 (High-Gloss Type Full Body Screen Protection Film Set)

SGP Incredible Shield 4.0 for Apple iPhone 4 (Gloss Type Full Body Screen Protection Film Set)

i'll like to have the anti fingerprint one but they dont offer it in a full kit

The full antifingerprint has been delayed. The Incredible Shields are wet installs.

Just installed the Oleaphobic and it looks great. I am glad I order four because I did not get it right till my fourth attempt (don't worry, I suck at putting on screens). It looks great and I can't even tell it is on.

Can someone please comment on how well they think the SGP films stand up to scratches (such as car keys in pocket)? Prior experience with an old phone would be helpful.

Also, has anyone managed to get their SGP film on properly around the home button and speaker? Every picture I've seen it appears like a small ring of bubble or something is around the home button and speaker...

is sgp any good?!?!?!?

I just ordered SGP for the first time based on the threads of this board. In particular this very thread.

It was either gonna be this or Wrapsol. After reviewing the two websites I had a hard time making up my mind.

Wrapsol did have a couple of threads complaining about their product, where as their seemed to be less of a hassle with SGP.

I ended up opting for the more expensive finger-print free Incredible Shield because I'm just a more greasy (ethnic) kinda guy. :D

Edit: This response is what I expect from SGP...
well i have posted many times in this thread.. and after my second replacement coming without flaws and installing it.. i wasn't too disappointed but i knew i wasn't satisfied with the looks of it.. so i ordered an SGP ultra clear and well

to all of you who are looking for the clearest look and hoping to see the screen as good as if it didn't have anything on it.. let me tell you sgp is AMAZING.. truly like there is nothing there..

wrapsol was also a fingerprint magnet while the sgp tends to not want to show fingerprints unless my fingers are really greasy..

wrapsol is indeed thicker and might protect your phone more if you don't use a case or a bumper, but if you are using something to protect at least a bit of the screen if you put your phone face down sgp is the way to go..

but if you're using ONLY wrapsol and you're hoping to protect it if it falls this phone will shatter for sure.. the odds may be slightly better that it may not get totally scratched but imho i would not suggest wrapsol to anyone.. specially after looking at sgp.. and a lot of people are saying that power support is even better.. hard to imagine..

installation was much harder but if you take your time and are willing to lift adjust and repeat in a very lint free area the end result is well worth it...

i couldn't be happier with my new screen protector :D

I just got the SGP EX Ultra Crystal full body protection, and it is perfect! The install was very simple (dry) and you could barely tell it is there. It also goes perfectly with the apple bumper. I also love the fact it comes with 2 sets... I would definitely recommend it!
