I worked at a reseller for 4.5 years and i doubt that'll be the case. thats a joke they told you to find one there. We never got any new products until weeks after launch. priorities....

I'm going to try this morning at Apple Store Ross park. I'll pick up an extra if they have any and I'm willing to ship to someone express just to try to help someone out.
people just don't have any sort of customer service skills. Even if you're sold out of something it doesn't mean that the customer deserves a condescending a****le to talk down to them. They can still at least TRY to help you out better than that.

Just got off the phone with the Apple store in Kenwood, Cincinnati, OH. Finally got someone really nice and helpful. He said he didn't think they had any be let me check. They didn't. So I ask him when the get deliveries. He answered. He said usually around noonish. He said to check again later. No go online BS. I'll be checking again later today.
Twelve Oaks mall in Novi, MI had zero again yesterday. But 2 days ago I bought some there.
Jetfire, I've been calling Kenwood as well. Can you keep me updated if you find out they have any? I am going to try and get my wife to go around noon. I hate that its such a crapshoot and almost pure luck. By the time I call and if they say they have any I know they'll be gone before she can get there.
Just went to the Greene in Dayton and they had 4 Keyboards on display but no Apple Pencils. The guy told me they get shipments in throughout the day and i can call to reserve one if they get one. They said they can hold it for 24 hours if they get one in. So I'm calling throughout the day ahaha.
im surprised as big as this forum is, there would be some apple clerks/employees who stroll through and could shed some light on things.

From what I'm seeing online people are selling the keyboards for over $300 easily. Tempting to buy the others they have and reselling them.
They are not ending at that price. If someone could be nice enough to grab one at cost, I can pay for shipping. Please.

I sold one of mine on eBay and it sold for $299 3 days ago. (auction). The averages today look around 170-210. Its dropping quickly.
I just went into the Apple Store on Boylston ST (Boston), and they said they only had one left. I picked it up and will be using it shortly. Someone else came in this morning and asked and they currently did not have any at the time. I guess they only got a shipment of 1 pencil today? Very odd how low the supplies are.
That's weird. It was likely me that was the "someone". Had errands in the area—maybe I'll try again, they were still unloading a delivery after 10am.
I find it odd that they would only have one delivered when they clearly got a deliver this morning. If you are in the area you might want to check out the one in Cambridge too. I'm assuming they would also get at least one delivered.
