Ah I see. You’re adding an extra “screen” in the abbreviation. People here generally refer to as AOD - Always On Display.

So personally my experience hasn’t been good with AOD. It drains noticeable amount of battery so much so that I have turned it off now after trying for a few weeks. Plus it’s very distracting as in most of the times I feel like the screen is actually fully on.

I found the same on battery life with 16.0.1 and 16.1 ... battery life matched day to day use (under 14 days) as my 82% battery health 12 mini i had before I returned and upgraded to 13 mini. hoping ioS 16.2 is better. the confusion of the screen being always on also caused me confusion.

Endgame setup (not sure if I’ve said that yet). I’ve been using this wallpaper for over a week which is unheard of for me. I also just did a flawless application of this FLOLAB screen protector which makes the phone even more of a joy to use.
