Agree. Its just like the Apple watch. Here are a few ugly watch faces... pick one and enjoy. Limited options. I would love to be able to shrink the time, have more font options. be able to place it anywhere on the screen I'd like. Changes like that would not impact the function or security of the device at all either. It will probably be the revolutionary update in ios 19 or something.

This is one aspect of Android I’ve always preferred to iOS; the Lock Screen has always been such a waste.

No. I agree with you, but my preference would be to make it require a longer hold.
