I guess this is a good place to ask since it's what I've been trying to figure out for a while. Is there a way to just change the wallpaper but leave the text, format, and widgets in tact? It seems like whenever I want to change wallpaper it will always just add a new lockscreen, but I don't really want it to do that. Also, where are you all getting these beautiful wallpapers? I would love like a wintery (or 49ers or SF Giants) wallpaper but I'm still not good at this aspect of IOS 16 yet.

Unlock your phone, and long press on the Lock Screen and pick CUSTOMIZE. Select the Lock Screen, and then tap the picture icon on the lower left side of the screen. That should open your Photos library, allowing you to select another image.

I'm not seeing the picture icon. I have the Astronomy Wallpaper and it just lets me scroll through the types of pictures in that specific set.

New wallpaper? Midnight!

simplicity. no frills (also lol, no clock). & ALL my apps are in dock folders (and the right folder has several pages of rarely-accessed apps), so only a single-page homescreen...

It’s an app called tide guide, they updated it last month to include a wind live activity which I always keep running just cause I like how it looks😎.
I downloaded the app but it just crashes. The Live Activity works which is cool but I’d really like that solar widget to work as well.
