Here's my PowerBook's weekend itinerary... looks like a pretty exciting trip to me. The Mississauga depot is about 40 minutes from my house, so I'm guessing it's gonna sit on a truck until Monday morning and then make its way to my house. I may hug the driver... I'm not sure yet. The strange thing is the estimated delivery time is Feb 8, 2005 by 12:00 pm... hope that's wrong.

The funny thing is that my AppleCare shipped (via Sameday) 3 days before the notebook and I can't even track it on Sameday's web site. I called Sameday and they said they are expecting a huge Apple delivery this weekend and all of the tracking numbers will be updated by Monday or Tuesday. Makes me glad the notebook shipped Fedex... there's something to be said for the amount of information provided.

Apple saleman said to me on the telephone that I would get it in a week. I ordered on 31th Jan. It should be delivered today. Yeah right. I'm wondering whether it has actually shipped at all?
Maybe the plane is waiting on the runway, waiting for all the backlog of PBs to get there?!?!
I'm thinking about placing an order for a 20" iMac BTO. Maybe they can have a race to see which one get to my doorstep first!

if we study admitterpcuser's post from earlier on this page, we see that his package arrived in memphis shortly after midnight, and he received it the same day! our little guys arrived around 3am so hoping for delivery tomorrow is not that far fetched...

Couldn't wait any longer!
I went to the Regent Street Shop and picked up a 20" iMac with 512MB RAM/160GB HD, APE, BT, BT KB and Mouse, they had them already configured out the back. They just had to put in the APE card, which took 30 minutes.
Were they reading my mind????! Anyway, I now have a Mac in the back of my car waiting to get home to be played with!
Dearly beloved PB, if you can hear me. Take as long as you like, I have my iMac to play with now!

Mine still says Feb 9 by 10:30am. Since i am having it delivered to work if it gets here early it better be before 4pm or else i won't be getting it until the next day anyway.

I live in an apartment complex whilst at school so as long as it gets here before 5pm the office signs for it and I go pick it up there. Usually Fedex and UPS deliver once in the morning and then around 3 based on our location to the pickups I guess, so hopefully all operates as expected and I can get this prior to the office closing.
