This is a very complicated discussion and goes to the heart of a functional society, it's also important to point out I didn't use the word "bad" by itself, I instead used the term "bad behavior" because bad is too complicated to not provide context.
Behavior is a social construct, and in an ideal society there's a mutual respect automatically applied by each of us for everyone else. There's a lot of freedom within that ideal to behave bad, good, neutral, etc.
If there is a commodity, any kind of one that is potentially limited and in demand, there is opportunity for those with means to hoard and in turn control the supply to those who do not have those means, leading to all sorts of new economic classes.
So yeah, it's bad behavior, but not "bad".
Ideal behavior would be you buy the one you want and leave the one you don't for the next average Joe to come along and own, as fairly and squarely an experience as you buying the item you wanted was.
From Tickle-Me Elmo scalping, to ticket scalping, to modern day electronics, all of these create potentially destabilizing scenarios for economy and society.
