They are literally changing stuff back to 24hrs as we type

Maybe so but I refuse to believe that Apple would let Europe have loads of stock while America has to wait 30 days, I think it is nothing more than a software glitch on the American end as opposed to anything dramatic happening.

If things are changing back then it doesn't really matter, does it? Odds are it was a delayed shipment because of weather or a parts shortage.

Pretty much everything is above 24 hours for me. All the Macs, all the iProducts.

UK "Clearance" store was emptied for most of this week.

I noticed that the UK Apple store's "Clearance" section was emptied on Sun night/Monday morning. It filled up again today.
I did wonder if I'd see a posting on here about strange goings on with the Apple online stores.

Would love to see a minor update to the iMacs to include the factor boot Lion reinstall by downloading the OS option like only the new Airs and Mini's have.

Would be excited to see a larger than a Mini but smaller than a Pro desktop.

Also a iMac with touchscreen would be pretty awesome. But only as a way to augment interaction via traditional means (touchpad, mouse).

I recall seeing some patent by Apple that would allow the iMac to tilt and fold down so the screen was basically sitting on the desk facing up, that would be pretty sweet.

Of course iPhone 5 is coming and probably a new iPod lineup/refresh.

I'm really hoping the rumors are true this time that the iPhone 5 screen will be larger.

I don't want the absurd large size some of the Android phones have but 4" screen would be nice.

That's interesting because I was in the Carphone Warehouse the other day after an iPad 2 3G and they had no 16gb models in stock, which was fair enough, but strangely their distrubution centre had none and they had no idea when they'd get any more... Luckily, I was able to nab the last white 16gb one the Three Store had the next day ;)

I wonder if Foxconn are instead putting their resources into building iPhone 5s? Thus extending the manufacture time on current products?

Or, it could be maintenance as suggested. The refurbished page was empty for two days in the UK.

Now back.

I was just about to say that... I waited to read to the end in case someone else said it and you did! Except I was going to say maybe Apple's part provider and assembly plants are focusing on making parts and assembling the iPhone 5 that everything else slowed down and caused shortages of current product.

guys they are all being ****ing refreshed, major product updates, to show the world that apple will not fail without Steve,

the only item that is unlikely to be refreshed is the macbook air, every other item on that list could have an update!

you don't believe me? Well, we'll find out in a week or so

It's the guy who's taken over Tim Cooks old job's fault! This would never have happened with TC in charge of logistics!
Well there is no COO at the moment. So no one took over. I think Cook is still going to be in charge of this.

Probably the iPad 3 is coming at the same time as iPhone 5 since iPad 2 shipping is 2-3 weeks and they have recently caught up with the demand.

Everything is getting refreshed.

you are correct

Sorry, MacBook Airs are not in stock in the UK, nor is the 12-core and server Mac Pros.
