Ships by July 14nd" - Now Prepared for Shipment!

There is verification of some kind that goes on with AT&T as well. On the same day mine went to prepared for shipping, my upgrade status with AT&T changed from eligible to not eligible. If you are looking for another sign besides apple's website, you could check there.
 
My UK order has just gone to "Prepared for shipment" (on the US Apple Store site - Still "Not yet" on the UK site). I am very excited. Probably take ages to get here, but it is still exciting.

She didnt say "hey if you wait till the 29th to order from ATT, they'll have it to you quicker than if you order from us today". I did pick up two of those griffin reveal cases at walmart yesterday just because i want us to have some kind of case to put on them when they do decide to arrive.

No one knew what AT&T was going to choose to do with their alloted supply, you would need to call them and talk to them, apple nor any other company that is not at&t is going to know their corporate decisions, again they are separate companies with their own separate alloted supplies.. are you mad cause best buy and radio shack had them in their stores before you got your pre-order? you know the delivery date when you ordered it and you knew the release date, you had options

i thought i explained this already but apparently not, so i'm going to just stop posting on this topic because it's going nowhere and you are going to choose to be angry no matter how I try to explain it to you

Me too...

I received an email from PayPal that my PayPal credit card was billed for my iPhone order to be shipped out by July 14th. So, I guess it's being packed and prepared for shipment ... Sweet!
 
I ordered on June 22nd, and my order status went to prepared for shipment on Sunday, July 4th.

My order shipped on July 6 at 10:36 AM China time from Shenzhen. Estimated delivery in Southern California is on Friday, July 9. I'm happy that it finally shipped:D, but still won't believe it until I see it with my own eyes:mad:!

I completely agree. Mines been stuck at Prepapred since Friday evening. I wish I knew what the heck Apple is doing and why its takin so long.

That's weird, I ordered 3 days before you, and I'm still stuck on prepared for shipment. I'm guessing apple is just taking random orders and shipping them out, instead of going in order.
 
i've also been "prepared for shipment" since last friday. are we sure there's a verification process with at&t at this point? I mean, it was verified when i ordered, why another verification? (if that's the case). C'mon...ship already!
 
finally shipped!!!! here is my timeline of events in case it helps anyone waiting....(which i did a LOT of)

ordered: june 24 at 12:18/20 AM PDT
2 black 16G
prepared for shipment: july 3rd
shipped: july 6 at 11pm/2am
est. arrival: july 13th (hoping earlier since i live in california and some people say the 9th, but perhaps their shipping arrangements were different. i did standard shipping and was not charged $10 that some others were)
 
Yea! The phone is scheduled to be here in the 9th now instead of the 14th - 19th! Thank you Apple. Now I will be in town when my wife's phone arrives. Happy wife happy life. :)
