northern california here, oakland to be exact. my two 32gb were prepared for shipping on thursday and shipped friday. they're now on the fedex vehicle for delivery. i have the day off so now i'm anxiously waiting for that doorbell!! luckily the world cup match is about to start. 
TNT Tracking - Not Seen that before
My UK order was shipped earlier today but it showing a location that doesnt make any sense. Has anyone else had this?

Did you get a 'shipped by' date of the 14th? That's still 8 days away... they will just tell you to wait.
What I meant was the bit in red SZ1 only ever seen like town or place names on TNT tracking before.

Oh right, sorry. I think it's pretty safe to assume it's a code for some sort of Shenzhen depot or TNT check-point.
mine is shipped too but i haven't been billed, my card has a million pending charges on it though, bank might be backed up from the long weekend

I know it's unlikely, but fingers crossed that it'll ship and I'll get it before I go out of town for the weekend. I just got standard shipping, though; anyone know what the average time with standard from when you get the email it's been shipped to when it shows up on your doorstep?

Still don't get it...ordered June 17th at 8pm and still "prepared for shipment", and method to the madness, reason others who ordered almost a week later are shipping? location? etc... I'm going bonkers since I sold my 3G on ebay one week ago and don't have a phone! yikes!!!
I ordered my phone on the 17th as well, at round 8:00 too (EST). Been stuck on that stupid "Prepared for shippment" since July 2nd. I just want to know how they are decieding when these things ship.
That's what I'm trying to figure out. I ordered on the 19th, and still no change, yet people here ordered 5 days after me, and their getting shipment notifications.
Huh. Maybe it's that 8pm window. Mine was at 8:02pm on the 17th, and still prepared but not shipped...

I ordered on Apple.com on 6/30 and it says my shipdate is July 22 with an expected arrival on July 27th.
Talk about lame. They took the money out of my account in a matter of hours though. So I technically paid for it a week ago and wont see it for roughly 3 more weeks.
I really hope it comes in early.

similar situation here.. already 12:45 here and fedex hasn't dropped by yet.. they've usually made their run by now in my building, and i've been home all day.. the waiting continues!
