Yay, mine shipped today:

Ordered: Jun 17, 2010 at 10:37 PM PDT

Shipped: July 6th
Est. arrival: July 13th
 
From the UK - Mine was supposed to be shipped by July 14th, got email notification that it has been shipped and will be with me on or before 12th! :D
 
My order went from "Left Fed Ex facility" in Shenzen to "At Fed Ex facility" in Shenzen. Only took a whole day to get from where it had already been to where it is again. o_O

Mine went from Alaska on Friday to on the truck today. (It just updated between Monday morning and Tuesday morning.

Fedex tracking is horrible and sometimes updates incorrectly and slowly, give it some time.
 
Starting to worry I could be one those people that gets their order canceled. Everybody is getting a shipment notification on here but me.

Looks like I might be getting my iPhone tomorrow.
 
Mine just shipped, should be here by Friday. it's a good thing I got 2-3 day shipping otherwise it would have been stuck in weekend purgatory.
 
i think the order might have to do with location, some are going from china to alaska and some go from china to hawaii, i'm sure they are sending them in batches since there is such high demand and alternating between destinations, this would explain why it seems out of order, when really it's just prioritizing by efficiency, if your order needs to go to alaska and the 2 orders before yours and the 2 orders after yours need to go to hawaii then it would only make sense to bundle the hawaii ones together and send them

lol, i've ordered things ups from texas and a couple times have had them never leave texas then just all of a sudden randomly appear in portland, even though my other orders from the same company stop 3 times in between, meaning they've missed scanning out at 1 location, then scanning in and back out at 2 other locations, humans scan these packages, mistakes happen.. I also think these are likely shipped in larger palatized boxes from the china sweatshop and probably just have a control sheet attached to them with all the tracking numbers on it, they could easily be missed or stuck on the wrong package only to be corrected when they open the larger packages to distribute them and scan the actual items instead of the control sheet, there's no way they would scan all 2 million individually as they are leaving, or have them all packaged individually on a pallet or something like that, i'm sure they're grouped by region in larger boxes, at least till they hit stateside

Mine mirrors yours except I ordered on June 20th.

Its sitting in a FedEx facility in China. I can't imagine it taking a week to get here from there but what do I know?
 
Still on Prepared to Ship since Friday for me too. Although they decided to charge my card for real yesterday.

Has anyone else in California had theirs shipped yet? If it's by region, it might make sense, but it still seems incompetent to have a pre-order system then completely ignore first-come first-serve.

Same here. I ordered a whole day before you though. What's going on? My card has been fully charged
 
Went from prepared (since Saturday) to shipped overnight. ETA as posted above is the 13th to the Seattle area.

I'm a little irritated that they're saying a full week to arrive, because when I ordered, the Apple website showed no difference in shipping dates between their free shipping and their $10 option. Since the consensus around this place seemed to agree with that, I didn't bother with the extra money. My bad. LOL More time to practice patience, I guess.

Now to check with the bank to make sure the charge went through correctly this time, and with AT&T to see what they screw up....

My order is June 16 8:02pm PDT is still in "prepared for shipment" att already upgrade my contract for 2 years and apple charge my debit card already...

Oh No!. It is on the truck for delivery and I didn't put out my paper that says to leave it. Hopefully my fiancee gets home in time to sign for it. Damn, so close.
 
...wow still won't get mine until the end of July and I ordered back in June. Great job Apple.

I'm in California and I've been stuck on prepared for shipment since Friday! I ordered on June 16th! :(

Same here -- Cali, 17th, "Prepared for Shipment" since July 2. I know they only promised it would ship by the 14th but seeing people who ordered 5-15 days after me get theirs delivered while mine sits in a warehouse in China has my blood pressure up a little :(
