Mine is STILL there. Both of ours were updated as "At local FedEx facility" at the same time. It's been 23 hours now.
 
And I have shipment! Email said it'll arrive 7/13, but the tracking page doesn't have a date. Still in HK. I was really hoping to have it on Friday so I could play over the weekend but I guess that's unlikely.

just curious, are all of us who ordered a week before others who already have their phone in-hand in one region of the country? I've been stuck on prepared for shipment since 7/3 and ordered on June 17th at 8:02pm and I live in a major metro area on the east coast...just still trying to make sense of the madness...it just doesn't seem fair that people who ordered almost a whole week later are already using their phones...(can you tell I'm jealous!)...poop!

I ordered June 16th around 3:30 pacific time and I live in Texas and Its been prepared for a stupid long time.

i didn't order until june 23, so i figured i'd have more of a wait than everyone else. they did get my hopes up when they shifted me to prepared to ship on saturday though. i'm still trying to figure out what they're process is. the waiting is just terrible, but we'll make it through!
 
Note for anyone who's ordered a bumper at the same time as their iPhone - these are on backorder and earliest I was told that they would be ready for dispatch was 24 July. I ordered direct from Apple on 18 June and whilst my iPhone is ready to go the bumper wasn't and so my whole order was being delayed.

I've since cancelled the bumper order and will try source one locally.

Same times too. Glad I'm not the only one. Who knew Shenzhen was so tough to find your way out of...Starting to doubt the expected Friday delivery by 4:30

At 6:35pm today, I received the AT&T Customer Service Summary. My phone, ordered through the Apple store, is still in Prepared for Shipment status as of the same time.

I ordered the 16GB version on 6/23/10 at 9:33AM PDT. I'm not expecting it until the 15-19th, so if I get it early that's just a bonus.

My order has shipped. FedEx says estimated delivery is 7/13.

Same here, stuck since Friday night actually. This is the fifth day now. (June 17/California order if that makes any difference.) It's hard not to feel a little picked on at this point. But there's clearly a group of us getting picked on, which I guess means it's not a mistake, but somehow Apple policy. So we should feel... better?

Ha ha Apple. How I love you, and hate you. Go to hell and die. ;)

Yeah, I have the same tracking history so far on two separate orders, and this certainly looks dumb. However, for comparison, here is how a recent shipment of an HP laptop went:

So the next update we see might be that it has arrived at Lantau Island (or, if we are lucky, we have skipped HK and gone right to Alaska :p ).

Mine finally updated, but it has the exact same status. It still says "At local FedEx facility" in SHENZHEN. It's been there since the 6th at 9:57, and then it's there again on the 7th at 9:14.

same for one of my phones! and the other one is in transit, so im doubting they will arrive together even though fedex says they will- i hope they meet up :'(
 
Finally shipped after being prepared since Sunday! Estimated delivery is July 13th.

Uk buyer here, ordered on the 22nd and never got prepared for shipment just straight to shipped, predicted delivery date is the 15th, any uk users who got theres care to tell how many days it took to ship to them?

When would it update? It is in China right? So they have different hours then us.

Mine still says Ships by July 22nd, so prepared for shipping would be incredible for me. I have a feeling it will ship early, but I doubt I will see it until the end of next week, if I'm lucky.
