Anyone know why Apple don't use Fed Ex?

they do, just not exclusively. never put all your eggs into one basket. This also helps to keep apple's shipping costs low as they can get the major providers to compete against each other for the lowerst price. If any of them does a poor job you can always threaten to lower their quota to a different provider unless they lower the price. use that lower price as a reference quote to get lower prices from the others as welll.... brilliant.... whether apple passes this onto the customer is very questionable ;-)

i have that status when using national , but when using international i get the normal tracking. ?????

Just got my iPhone. From fedex. Pre-ordered June 16th, Ships by July 2nd, arrived just now!
 
just spoke to them and they are quoting tomorrow if your tracking is still showing in arnhem

As someone who has posted comments less than flattering about yourselves on this forum because of the lack of information on progress and long delivery time, I'd like to thank you for taking the time to come to a forum that is currently somewhat less than friendly.

Are you able to comment on the root cause for the two key issues, which from our perspective as customers appear to be - why the tracking information was so confusing and slow to update, and secondly, is it true, as some of your staff are being reported as saying, that the reason for the delay is because Apple gave you incorrect consignment information?

We do know you've been having trouble with our tracker updating. This is purely due to the volume of traffic hitting our website right now. I know its little help, and we're not saying its an excuse, but we want to be completely honest with you.

I'm afraid we cannot comment on the information that is supplied to us within our contracts. We want you all to know though that we are doing everything we can to sort this for you as quickly as possible, and we are available on Twitter to take your questions, answer your complaints, or just sit here whilst you vent your frustration if that helps!!

Mine came 45 minutes ago. It's synced and ready to go. I don't have any of the reception or proximity sensor issues. It's perfect and amazing.

Hard to be angry at TNT now because they did make the effort to come on the forum. But there could be a lot of angry people if their iphone doesnt arrive tomorrow.

I'm taking the day off (again) to wait in for delivery - is it worth calling the customer service line to let them know this?

Will be a tad miffed if I use up a precious day's holiday to wait in, only for the driver to leave delivery until last thing in an attempt to avoid normal working hours.

Previous TNT deliveries have tended to be late morning, which would actually be perfect...

hey pittman, just wondering how your phone is. any problems with it like the screen discoloring and the death grip? my phone was sent off the same time yours did and mine is on the truck for delivery now.
 
since TNT joined this forum I wonder if they could tell us the reason for the delay.

I checked the transit times on TNTs web site on Friday as if I were to send a package from Shenzhen myself and it said to be delivered July 5th. So to me July 7th is a delay of 2 days.

First it was sitting 2 days in Shenzhen to be picked up. Then it was sitting in Hong Kong for 2 days and now it was sitting 1 day in Arnhem. Packages sitting around is not exactly what I understand by Fast Shipping.
