iPod touch Ships in 1-3 business days?

Ah you are very lucky indeed! I live in a small town of ~3000 people, and the nearest fedex place is 35 min away, guess we will wait and see :D
 
ordered Tuesday around 3pm and according to the tracking number it should be here Friday 10:30am. I will be really happy if that's the case, especially considering it's coming from China.
 
Thank god my dad works for apple got it the first day here in cupertino. BTW how long will the new headphones take to ship?

Not necessarily true. By your logic I should have my ipt Thurs or Fri because mine was put on the plane This morning...Wrong. Monday. 1 day may equal one day, but I'm proof that 2 day's does not equal two days. In my case 3 biz day's or, the way I see it, 5 days shipping.

I ordered mine on Tuesday at 3pm pacific but it still shows 'Prepared for Shipment'

did any of you get an engraving on your Touch?
 
iPod Touch 16GB (Engraved)

I placed my order for a 16GB (Engraved) iPod Touch on 11:13 PST. After 4 hours my status was changed to "Prepared for shipment". This status has not changed since then, and is going on 34 hours. Any theories as to why it's taking so long when other engraved ipod Touches are already in transit?
 
I think it really depends on where it's going possibly? I ordered mine on the 9th, and it shipped out that evening basically to Alberta

I ordered mine, which is engraved 8GB iPod Touch, around 2PM Pacific on the day of release but, the status as of now still shows 'Prepared for Shipment'. I hope I receive it on Friday this week as a surprise by FedEx courier. :rolleyes:
 
Mine is still out for delivery right now (according to UPS.com, its about half an hour away :D )


Still won't be home for another 4 1/2 hours though. :(


Edit: no engraving. I have engravings on both my other iPods (see sig), and just didn't think I need one more with an engraving. Also couldn't think of anything at the time. lol

Also, mine is coming from the Netherlands since I'm in Germany. *sigh* Can't wait to be back in Canada
 
Ordered my 8GB Touch on Tuesday and it is in Indianapolis right now, set to be delivered by 10:30 am tomorrow with standard shipping. Of course I live in the south part of Houston and it looks like I might have to evacuate today because of Hurricane Ike. Normally I wouldn't budge but my wife is 36 1/2 weeks pregnant, so I don't want to chance anything.

Mine is quoted for delivery for friday by 10:30am, like a lot of others, but it's at my "local fedex facility" so I think it might come today (but I won't be there) so I won't get it. Stupid signature required.... I know, it's for security. So I'll end up getting it tomorrow anyway. Surprisingly fast shipping time.

edit: just checked again, and it's on the truck for delivery. Wish I'd left that pre-sign paper on the door! :-(
 
I ordereed from best buy. No telling when mine will be shipped. If today, it could get here by tomorrow.
 
Ordered mine 1/2 hour after the on-line store came back up on Tuesday, w/ engraving and standard shipping, and it has just progressed to "shipped" status and is set to be delivered on Monday the 15th.
 
Mine just arrived, I live in Ohio. I ordered on tuesday after they were announced. No engraving, and free standard shipping. Left Shangai on tuesday night. It was scheduled to be delivered tomorrow morning.
 
I ordered mine, engraved 8gb, around 6pm on Tuesday,
said should be delivered by Monday before 10:30 am (I live in NY).

Can't wait for my touch after having video for all these years :D
 
I just walked in the Apple store in my local mall and bought my Touch yesterday. They probably had 8-10 in stock and said they had not run out yet.

I ordered Tuesday afternoon at 3:00 with engraving. Received notice of shipping this morning. Paid for 2-3 day shipping and it is now estimated to arrive Sept. 16. At the time of order it said estimated delivery Sept. 11-17.
 
on its way home..

just checked and it set for delivery this morning. ordered a few hours after the announcement, standard shipping (no engraving). Midwest here.

I ordered Tuesday at 1:00 pm pst with engraving. Just received tracking info notice this morning =/ Paid for 2-3 day shipping as well but currently FedEx states that the package data has been transmitted to them at 3:01 am. Hoping i get it tomorrow along with my USB wall charger, which is due for delivery tomorrow. Fingers crossed!!!
