iPod touch Ships in 1-3 business days?

This morning, finally my iPod touch is shipped (Engraved 8GB) with Estimated Delivery Date of Sept. 15th (Monday). :)

Notice that Apple store now says "ships within 24 hours". :apple:

We seem to be in exactly the same place: ordered within an hour of each other. And my FedEx info came this morning and says exactly the same thing including the same time. Maybe our iPods are riding together part of the way, but mine's headed to Virginia.

Cool so our iPods most likely will be riding together =) Mine is headed to Washington but most likely they'll end up shipping together somewhere up until the midwest before splitting up and heading their separate ways. I noticed that my wall charger left china, arrived in alaska, then ended up in indianapolis =/ wish they could have just delivered it in two days since i did after all pay for 2-3 day shipping but oh well

Update: Just checked my shipping number and it was delivered!! Now that is fast! Less then 48 hours from China on the regular ground shipping.
 
Where all you guys all from? Mine still says Memphis..almost 24 hours w/o an update

Maybe my iPod is also riding together with your iPods. I also got tracking activity of "Package data transmitted to FedEx" at 3:01AM on Sept. 12th. If some people have already received their iPods in 2 days, there is a good possibility that FedEx delivers earlier than the claimed estimated delivery date of Monday the 15th.

Mine is:
Engraved 8GB with Free shipping. Ordered around 2PM on 9/9.

1quick1, did you just receive the iPod Touch a day earlier than the claimed estimate delivery date? :D

Update: My iPod is "Departed from FedEx Location in Anchorage, AK" @ 2:49PM!!

Mine hasn't updated with any info about Anchorage so I'm now trailing you.
 
Ordered yesterday (with engraving) and it shipped from Kunshan CN today. It states the estimated delivery as Tuesday 16th. Maybe ill get it by Monday? Who knows lol. Ill have to get them to get my neighbour to sign though since I'll be at class during that time.
 
PacMookBro, mine seems to be shipping with yours--it also left Anchorage at 2:49pm today and isn't scheduled to come until Monday morning. Still crossing my fingers for tomorrow though...

Do these seem to take longer to get to the East coast? I'm in ny. :(

Mine is in the same place as you guys are talking about, and also scheduled to be delivered Monday. Mine's going to Michigan, so I'm hoping that it might show up on Saturday instead of Monday.

I hope mine gets to me by Saturday. Alaska to California shouldn't take to long unless it's going to another state first. :(
 
I got mine today too, really surprising. I was looking at the tracking online and it got into LAX at 6:55, arrived at my local FedEx facility about an hour later, was put on a truck for delivery and then arrived at my door less than an hour later. I thought it would be tomorrow since 8:16 seems like a late time for FedEx to be getting packages out, I'm not complaining though. :) Ordered Tuesday BTW, right when the Apple Store came back up.

It does unfortunately, Alaska to Indianapolis then to California. Doesn't make sense, but it's just how FedEx works. I had a package that came from New Mexico one time and it went to Indianapolis then to California instead of just coming right to California.

Ordered my 16 GB ipod touch Tuesday immediately when the store reopened. It was in Alaska last night and delivered to me at my home in TX today! Talk about fast. You people better be looking for them today...
 
Mine was just delivered! Too bad I'm at work for another 8 hours...arg!! Shipped from China yesterday, wasn't supposed to be here till Monday, and arrived already. Talk about fast!
 
Ordered mine Tuesday around 6 PM EST and it arrived this morning at 8:31 AM EST. However, I was in the shower when the delivery guy showed up so missed it! Now I have to wait until after 6 PM tonight to pick it up at FedEx myself or else they'll retry on Monday. Unbelievable.

Ah well. I guess it's probably better I don't use it until the BodyGuardz protection arrives anyways (which should be Monday or Tuesday).
