Changed my mind from the Incase stand type to ordering Marware's offering:

Ive learned the best way to choose is to handle them in hand. go to the apple store and play with some, then you'll at least narrow choices and options down.

I just bought the Incipio Dermashot for iPad. It just became available for pre-order tonight on Amazon for $19.99. Get 'em while they're hot. BTW, Incipio themselves is selling them on their site for $34.99. Exact same product (exact same model #).
Also, you can buy it from Incipio through Amazon right now for $34.99. I guess Amazon is waiting on their bulk purchase of them to arrive before they start shipping them. If Amazon is able to sell them for $19.99 and still make a profit, imagine the profit margin at the $34.99 price-point!

And no, that's not a window cutout to show the Apple logo. They made the silicone thinner there, which shows the logo.

I like how it has the honeycomb cutouts inside to decrease the weight (and probably add protection.... there's a reason bees make their hives in that pattern)

The iPad fits nicely into my bag.
id be hiding it in my backpack and protecting the screen more, but thats just me...

Amazon says it comes with a screen protector - Incipio's site says it comes with a stand and microfiber cloth hmmm. (Hope it's a screen protector)

Who knows...... but, when you pre-order, Amazon doesn't charge your credit card until the item ships, so if I end up finding something better, I can always cancel.
Don't hold your breath. The Apple Stores have carried the same 3-4 cases since launch..... and they're all mediocre and over-priced. IMO, your best bet is to find something somewhere else.....
you are very right, i'll spend my time looking online then. I just wish I could try these cases before buying them. The buy and return game sucks.

I had my eye on this case from "Simplism". i found out Buy.com actually has it in stock so I pulled the trigger. Let see how it goes.
Wow this is beautiful!! Do you know if it has a "typing" angle like the official Apple Case does? This is exactly what I"m looking for but I really want to be able to have the tilted angle option for when I'm typing.

I would guess that it doesn't. There would be a crease in the front cover (like with the Apple case) that would bend to form the wedge-shape.
