Can you tell us how thin it is? I'm looking for a thin clear case that doesn't take away from the design of the ipad. thanks!

Super thin. It adds grip cause of the rubberized edges but other than that it feels as I'd there is no case. That's why I love it so much. It feels protected but yet naked still.

The one I got has the smaller dimensions. I think they may have rebranded the original netbook sleeve size as the iPad sleeve and are now selling a slightly larger one for netbooks.

Thanks! I will check out a local Staples store.

What do you guys think of the SGP skins? I can't tell if it protects the sides as well or just the back.

They look pretty slick for the back. Either the carbon fiber looking one, or the leather for a more professional look. I was thinking about using this in combination with a portfolio type case for when I'm out of the house. Anyone know if it will fit?

The quirky looks like the best portfolio type case with the slim profile similar to the apple case.

Eventually I'll grab a PowerSupport when it becomes available as well.

I actually just got the Carbon Fiber one in the mail today. It looks pretty damn good. but i'm taking my ipad in tomorrow to the apple store, as I have the wifi issue. We'll see what happens.

They mailed it flat in flat cardboard with lots of do not bend stickers. The quality of the skin loks pretty good but i won't know until i apply it.

Got this on order...

Hubba hubba! :)

This case looks nice for $30. I never heard of hdaccessory.com- are they reliable? I wish amazon sold this so I could return easily if cheap. I only wonder if you can open the cover and completely wrap it to the back of the iPad, so you don't have an "open book" all the time.

Please let us know how you like it!

I hope it works well, I love the look of it and the leather looks nice and soft. I'll put up a little review once it comes in. From the tracking info, looks like I'll get it next week. Hopefully by Monday.

Is anyone thinking that the flip cases that boast business card and paper slots are a bad idea given that they'd rest right up against the screen? Or is the screen given the supposed durability of iPhone?

A nail failed to scratch the ipad screen, I dont think you should worry about a business card or a piece of paper.

Maybe it was a bad nail!

But really, thanks as I didn't see a video of said nail on said screen. ;) But thank you. I had wondered because I considered it similar to say my MacBook Air where the oil from my skin would rest on the keys and then closing the lid resulted in the keys hitting the glass. I can't speak to any damage as I had a screen guard (microfiber) within the day, but I was curious about the iPad.

I have a concern about cases. If Apple spent the extra money (and charged us) to use an aluminum case for the iPad it was probably related to heat dissipation. If that is in fact a reason wouldn't a case interfere with proper cooling and effect battery life and processor performance? I am of course not referring to storage but case that stays on.

^^^^ My iPad never gets hot.... or warm for that matter. I don't think that any of these cases will cause a problem with heat dissipation.

I wouldn't use any case that would allow anything to touch my screen besides soft material.....

Hey sorry for the late reply. I messaged them and they replied yesterday and it was a problem with the site. They fixed it up now I believe. I hope you were able to get your order through.

ipadder, where/how did you get it? Their website is seriously hosed up—if you put something in the shopping cart, a white page with a W appears. No way to see if you have it or not. Also no phone number anywhere on their site....same white page appears if you send an email (as noted on their contact page, but still).

I’m leaving for Asia in 10 days and am desperate to find a cover that includes a decent kickstand (gonna be watching a few movies during the 20+ hours in flight). Help.

haha, that stress test is hilarious.

btw, I got a response from SGP about there skins and they don't actually protect the sides and corners and are just protection for the back.

MarWare Eco-Vue rocks!

I ordered the MarWare Eco-Vue on Monday. It arrived today. They are out of stock when my friend ordered the same day so they must be selling like hot cakes.

The construction is first rate. Much nicer than the InCase Book Cover I returned to the Apple Store today. It's thin and light - just the way an iPad folio should be. The best feature is the fat leather and elastic strap in the back that lets you secure it in one hand while you walk around and type "10 key adding machine" style with the other hand.

Any questions please let me know and I will answer to the best of my ability.

A few easy and fast answers, no it does not have a stand for typing or watching movies.
From the looks texture and smell yes it is leather as it claims on the case.
