How do you get the Apple logo for the monogram?
Copy it and mail it to your phone. Copy it on your phone then go to Settings>General>Keyboard>Text Replacement then create a two letter combination that will be replaced with your pasted apple logo. No go on your watch and for the monogram type in those two letter selected earlier... I hope this explains it

Thanks. I understand it. But way more complicated than I was expecting.

Got a Space Black SS to match my standard SS in anticipation of a Space Black Milanese Loop at next month's event (after that leak from a while back). There was an offer on - £100 off so got it for £419 instead of £519. Couldn't resist!

Surprisingly it was manufactured way back in August - before the SKU was even announced at the September event. So the battery was dead, and it was running watchOS 1 so restoring from a watchOS 2 backup was a bit dodgy, lost some activity data.

Roll on multiple watch support in 2.2!

How much activity data?

The Armor Suit screen protector is actually pretty seamless, though obviously the plain glass feels and looks the best. But I forget it's on after a day or so, and then don't worry so much about scratches.
Thanks, that's a good suggestion but now that it's scratched anyway, I'd just as well use it normally. I got AppleCare+ so in case it gets badly scratched I'll apply for a replacement.
Maybe I'll use an armor if one day I replace this one with a SS, my dream. :) Probably I'll wait for the second generation anyway (at least).

Why isn't the second hand actually on the dot?
Because it's constantly moving, it's not "jumping" from dot to dot
(edit) like explained by nicho.

I used the AppleInsider tutorial - link already provided here. It's easy to do and looks really neat. :)

How much activity data?
Initially I thought it was several months as the most recent backup that appeared (even though I had just unpaired my other watch meaning a backup should just have been made) was from September.

But now it seems the data is back, except calorie data from yesterday for some reason (exercise and stand data is still present, though). So not much lost in the end.

Yeah I can't believe Apple hasn't been more forthcoming with a guide about this.

I replaced my sport with a SS after watch os 2 was already out. I absolutely **** myself when I couldn't restore the backup to it.

Turns out I had to set up as new, update to watch os 2, and then re-pair with the old backup. No harm done in the end.

I ended up selling the sport model and getting the stainless steel, scratch free after a month. :)

I have a Space Black SS model, bought in September and it basically still looks brand new ! Amazed with the black coating and the sapphire is rock solid for scratches

Got the Moko Milanese loop for £12 on amazon.co.uk and so far it's been awesome, not sure how it compares to the Apple version but for £12 I am very happy.

Here's a Product Red version of the Apple Watch steel. Bought as the complete watch, not just the strap itself. I have several other straps including the Milaneese and link, but this one has a certain something about it. A silky smooth unapologetic and strikingly red hue. I love it and I love what it stands for.

Thoughts on Space Black watch with standard Link Bracelet? I think it photographs poorly but looks quite nice in real life.

I plan on getting a Space Black Link Bracelet eventually, but at £449 in the UK ($650!) it won't be for a while!
