It has definitely grown on me throughout the day.

For some reason the true color doesn’t come across well in pictures. I was expecting a more true gold (obviously I know that the aluminum wouldn’t match up to the SS). I want to try it with a few different bands before making a final call.

I've got about 10 straps lol, and a few more on the way. I have taken some photos, but I'm not sure the lighting was good enough to share them.

I know what you mean about the colour - I was a little disappointed when I saw how pink it is as I would have loved a truer gold. But it is lovely and I think it goes with a few of my straps (not all unfortunately, but I did buy them for a more neutral space grey).

It's definitely not as pink as the rose gold. If you put a picture of the rose gold and the regular gold next to each other, then try to imagine them having a baby, that's what you'll get with the S4 gold.

I did. Going from 38mm to 44mm is amazing... watch face so much easier to read!

OK, the lightning on these isn't great, I might re-do them tomorrow or when I get some more straps lol. Hopefully it gives an idea what colours work with the aluminium gold.

The one middle right shows the most accurate colours of the watch. I'll list the straps (assuming I can remember where I got them lol). eBay ones are all 3rd party knock-offs. Left to right....

croco leather - ocean - (clockwork synergy)

The gold aluminum & the gold stainless are different shades it seems. The aluminum being closer to the rose gold of previous releases and the stainless being that new new gold that everyone is talking about. Beautiful watch either way.

Do you have different bands you could show with it, when you are able and if it isn't too much trouble . I love the color but wondering how it looks w/ the bands I already have collected. It looks good w/ that stone color sports band! Congrats!

It's basically turquoise, my favourite colour. Blue usually goes really well with gold - I think it works here, but could have been even more stunning with a yellow gold.

Definitely helpful. The bands really do make a difference with how the color looks.

my series 4 came today, I ordered the black sport loop and didn't realize it had this odd speckled coloring within the black. not really a fan of it.

that picture doesn't accurately reflect the color in person - it's straight up pink, unfortunately it's a return to the store for me - I've been wearing it for 3 hours and can't get used to it at all
