Lovely pics. For those who have both the gold iPhone XS and the aluminum gold series 4 watch, how close are the gold colors?

Can I see on a variety of faces? Also please check if there's the original Modular face and not that stupid Infograph Modular one
Original Modular still an option:

That’s a 44SB with the Charcoal Leather Loop, BTW

How do you rate aluminum in series 4? It still looks much worse than steel as it was in previous series?
The pictures look cool and I think it will change from SS to aluminum, the more that it does not need LTE :)

Tried on the new grey aluminium yesterday and it's much nicer than the previous gen 42. Looks posher than before. I think it's basically just this new screen/bezel. All the models look a bit more upmarket overall.

Nice. What other colors can the infograph analog face do? So far, I've only seen black and white. Can it do more?

The face can only be black or white but if you choose black the interpolations can be pretty much any colour you like from the library of current / previous sport band straps.

Have to say I was not expecting the new design to be so much of a noticeable difference from the AW3. But wow I really like how slim this thing is.

It’s like a car. If you make the wheels slightly further apart and lower the suspension slightly it makes a big visual difference to the stance.

My Series 4 started ringing when on charge on my table, my Series 2 didn’t do that. Wasn’t expecting the new ring tone.

40MM AW4 Space Gray. This feels like perfect size for my 160mm wrist (previously I had 42MM series 0, which seemed a bit too big. Love this one!

I bought the same watch I'm also a guy with about the same wrist size as you. Reading posts on here while waiting for my watch and having everyone talk about the 44mm made my anxiety go through the roof wondering if I made the right choice. lol. This is my first AW coming from a 39mm round Citizen eco drive. Once my watch arrived it was pretty much the same size watch (maybe a tad bigger do to shape) So I didn't think it looked to small at all and seemed fine especially with more screen real estate. Think I'll probably keep my choice.

thanks, that's exactly the look i am going for. and my wrists are the same size :)

Same! :)

Pics next to a 39 mm Citizen and a solo shot.

I think I read somewhere that you could add the digital time complication to the analogue Infograph Watch Face.

Is this possible & could someone just post a pic if it is ?

Cheers

As you can see from my photo above, I'm using the World Clock on the bottom left for this.

At first I felt it was too big but I like it. The 40mm was too small and the screen estate in the 44mm is huge. My wrist size is 145mm by the way. This is a GoldSS

It fits closer to the skin so I think the 44 looks much better on smaller wrists now.

Currently deciding whether to keep the SS SG 44mm or return and get the Nike version. I workout a lot and afraid I might damage.

The entire reason I use SS models (and in my workouts and lifting) is because they don’t damage like the aluminum. I’ve banged the sapphire screen into the knurled edge of a weight bar and nothing... try that with glass. You made a good choice.
