The way to postpone any of your bands from getting too dirty or worn looking is to have lots of bands and switch them out every day, just like you do with your clothes.
I was very lucky and found a mint condition Series 5 Titanium for 1/3 of the original price. It's a very nice upgrade from my Series 4 Aluminum.

Won‘t happen, but it would be a neat way to have a larger size display on a smaller size wrist.
