Ughhh this thread so makes me want to drop $800 on the SS S7 haha.

I’ve gotten aluminum AWs dating back to 2015, so my question is do SS hold their resell value better? If I pay $800 now, could I resell in a few years for $500-$600? Thanks! (All y’all’s watches look amazing btw.)

Go for it! SS is a must have. I've kept my alum because I like having a watch only for workouts and bit physical chores, which I don't mind getting dirty or scratching. But for any other occasion, SS looks so much better - and also enhances every band you wear with it. Besides, there's almost no band that does not go well with SS.
Regarding resale, I wouldn't go as high as you suggest but there's definitely a market for them. The bulk of secondhand AW are usually aluminium watches. A well-kept SS will definitely stand out.

Any comparison between regular white and the new starlight solo loop? 🤓 I have the plain white one, but love the "stonish" tone, not sure how different they may look like!

I’m curious, what about the new sport loops you don’t like, the split style or color combinations?

Not too much of a fan of the new split style mainly and the Nike Sport Loops aren’t for me either. I don’t care to have “NIKE” printed multiple times on a loop. Better for my pockets though lol

Only one I might get honestly is the Tornado/Gray Loop as I get drawn to more subtle understated colors usually.

I like that one too, but with its dark blue lugs I feel it was designed for Midnight Watch, which kinda bothers me. Very irrational.

Lugs connecting the band to watch aren’t visible on your photo. In this vid they look definitely blue around 1:12 where its compared agaisnt other bands, so I don’t think it’s editing or light making them look blue.

Interesting! Would definitely have to see it IRL

Can you tell me more about Pink Chalk? Does it have a tint of neon in it? How do you like it compared to Pink Sand?
Pink Chalk is very close to Pink Sand, just less color and more brightness. See attached, all the sport bands are pink sand.

Starlight is very close to Stone, just less color and more brightness. 😉

If you aren’t going to be upgrading for at least a couple of years, it’s worth getting. I do want to inform you that the resell value does drop significantly. That being said, I don’t see myself going back to aluminum after getting an SS Space Black watch.

Looks very nice! The other one is the regular white, right? Thanks!
