I am wondering if Apple will keep the mirror finish on the SS if titanium does end up discontinued. The polished finish looked great on the curved iPhones and watches. But I don’t think it looks very good on the 12 Pro models. The rails look like a straight up mirror. It would be cool to see a brushed SS finish instead. Guess we will know in a few hours!

More on the topic of this thread: in honor of today’s event, I am wearing the band style and watch face that made want an Apple Watch in the first place. Storm Gray CB paired with the OG Solar face.

Totally agree with you! Exactly why I thought titanium would look great with square edges not sure about the blocky look and SS

I think you answered your own question – if Apple thought a flat mirror finish doesn‘t look good, the iPhone 12 Pro sides would already have been matte/brushed. Which I would have preferred.

Our only chance for a brushed finish is still Titanium, I guess. Fingers crossed 🤞😬

well that is very not cool of apple! to shrink the bezel like that. makes me not want to upgrade to watch os 8, and feels a bit like cheating. How long until this is noticed and written up by critics?

It’s just the newest watch face editor bug…not easy to fix but enough jiggling of settings does it eventually. I restored it to full size shortly thereafter. A little levity.

With Series 7 just around the corner, I looked back to photos in my camera roll almost a year ago, heres my very stealthy Space Black Titanium Series 6 with its Dark Grey Sport Band I briefly had before I exchanged it for the Natural Titanium. I really love that shine it had:

I really hope both Titanium models are retained in the lineup unfortunately at the moment the rumours suggest otherwise… Hopefully we get pleasantly surprised tomorrow :)
Why did you exchange it for natural titanium? just curious. I've got space black titanium and at first wasn't very sure but now I love it.

Because by now my watch band collection consists of mostly lighter colours and I found for me unfortunately the majority of them didn’t pair up as well with the Space Black Titanium compared to the Natural Titanium

yeah that makes sense.
