Thanks ! You sold me on the Golden Brown, definately gonna buy that one !
Green is nice But not that fitting with most of my shirts (Many blue tints)
Looks the blue loop? is inside out?
No worries yes the blue loop is inside out :)

I'm really loving this Pride band. I picked up two I liked it so much. (S7 Graphite 45mm).

I have to agree, that band is lovely! Even though it will be kind of perishable, I’m really tempted to get one (due to the pastel colors showing dirt/sweat). I usually buy dark colors, and I haven’t gone the braided route yet because it requires more care than elastomer.

Titanium- it’s the one I’ve kept :)
I’m almost wishing I’d chosen the Titanium…loving that brushed finish! But I had decided no more alternate ‘colors’ in Apple Watch finishes. The Gold Stainless Steel is nearly impossible to match with any bands, and Apple’s are quite limited for the Gold finish. A band with mismatched lugs and/or clasp would drive me insane…I’d never be able to stop(!) looking at the clash. And since Apple changes the Gold finish every year (and they do), none of the external band creators ever get the color exactly right, or if they do, it’s outmoded with the latest release. Long story short, I decided, after the limitations of the Gold watch not to vary from stainless again. I also have the metal link band in stainless, which I haven’t been able to use for 3 years.AND I think the same issue will apply to the titanium finishes.

I have mixed feelings about the natural titanium with steel band adapters. It’s pretty common for high end watches to have more than one finish. Even Rolex now uses brushed and polished finishes on their metal bracelets.

I’d be mostly afraid that I’d scratch the titanium from sliding in a metal adapter.

That’s a good point. those with titanium watches, and with stainless steel lugs, like the classic buckle, is there extra scratching there? I ask because aren’t the lugs harder than the titanium?

I’m quite fussy on matching materials. After several weeks testing I find that the natural Titanium is versatile particularity with the leather link bands looks great. Metal bands is different though; to me it didn’t match up well with the silver link bracelet but interestingly loooked really nice with the space black Milanese. I have the Apple Classic buckles in aubergine and ruby red; to me they looked nice with the Titanium and lugs barely stood out (as in you have to look hard to notice any mismatch); will try to take some pics later. Also no issues with scratching at all and I don’t know why but changing bands in the titanium is so much easier and smoother; it was a struggle to get the leather links out of the SS but not at all with the Titanium.

thank you that’s super informative. I also realised my initial message had so many mistakes I’m surprised you figured out what I meant! Typing on an iPad…

the ruby red looks especially nice here.

interesting that the ss lugs don’t scratch the watch. The natural titanium is on my radar. But how much it scratches has me pausing on it!

Ti is harder then Stainless, so the chance of scratching a Ti watch with a SS adapter is near none.
Aluminium is even softer.

From what I’ve read, stainless steel is harder. Titanium just has a higher strength to weight ratio. There are lots of variations of titanium and steel though. I’ve seen numerous used titanium models with scratches. I know you can polish them, but it would give me pause because of the coating Apple puts on them.

I do like the look of the titanium though. It was initially my first choice.

I had a titanium Seiko Watch years ago, and I personally preferred the weight of my steel watches. The titanium on that also scratched a decent amount over time. I think titanium might be better in a smart watch versus a traditional watch though (in my opinion).
