I luvvvvv how round the S7 is! And the potential squared off SE2 will be iconic in its own way. And I’m excited to see the Punisher rugged edition. Will be interesting if they rope Nike into that one, as they’re not afraid to dupe the Nike brand with the SE.
Right there with you wrt to the super refined shape of the S7!

Next gen will be very interesting for sure as we have literally no idea (from any rumours) what the "tentpole" new feature is going to be. FWIW I'm more with Gruber in believing that the Explorer will be the one with the flat edges, not the SE, but then again what will the new SE be like? So many open questions and the "rumour mill" still treats the Watch like the flop it never was …

Okay, maybe I wasn’t imagining things when I tried on the S7 the other day. It looked and felt different on my wrist in comparison to previous Apple Watches.
The 41mm looked more squarish in comparison to the SE 40mm I tried last year. That one felt more taller and narrow.

I haven’t seen any overlapping comparisons online, so I’m not sure where the subtle differences are.

I can only imagine it will be a new conception of motion detection, more than just the higher sample rate. Perhaps close the gap and eliminate those fuzzy, overly generous ‘other’ workouts.

Had my series 7 for a couple months now - still love it, but was only using the starlight band which came with it, swapped it for my plain black sports band from my old series 3 - still not as sharp as I thought it would do

Any ideas on watch face I could use to make it pop more?

I’m really tempted to give silver stainless a try but space black has a special place in my heart. Happy Mardi Gras!

Graphite is the sweet spot in my opinion. I came from SBSS and most of the length of time I’ve owned Apple Watches has been with SBSS since series 0. I’ve owned a Silver SS as well and I have to say Graphite is my favorite of the three. Striking great balance between Silver and Space Black.

Thanks for the input. Graphite is definitely being considered.

I’m sure you’ve seen Contour, the numerals-to-the-edge exclusive S7 face.

For analog dial, try Solar or GMT

And I still find myself using the old color face sometimes when Gradient gets too busy.

Sweet looking band 👌 got a link?
It’s the Hermes Fauve Barenia deployment band. Quite expensive if purchased direct from Apple or Hermes. But they do pop up on eBay from time to time for a good price (which is where I got mine). Beautiful leather but comes at a premium for sure.

Same. I was on the fence for a while, but now that I have Graphite, I prefer it to SS and SBSS (and to the dark Ti finish). It's now easily my favorite AW finish.

Thinking of getting this watch band for my series 7 SS silver AW, still 50/50 at the moment.

If anyone has this combo, can you post some pics plz, thank you.

Hi! I'm Michele from N-Italy... this is my Series 7 Blue Aluminium 45mm LTE with Golden Brown Leather Link. I'm very proud of it, I am a Nordic Walker and I usually wear my Watch during outdoor workout sessions, listening to Apple Music. Bye!
