I have that one! Charcoal too. I’m a fan of real black and as my SBSS Hermes arrives tomorrow the midnight braided is my radar 🫣
I've had black SS for the last 2 years and thought I'd do something different. I checked out the gold and wasn't a huge fan.
Are you planning to go to the store or you mean you might order midnight? (So excited for your Hermes, I have Gris Clair but no dark watch at the moment)
I went last weekend to a store but no braided there just the new nikes and sport loop. Sooooo I want to go again and see it for myself unless someone here posts it! If it’s darker and more black than the charcoal I may get it for my SB Hermes 😍 I wish a braided with the black unite color without the spots!

Charcoal was already slightly blue. I honestly think it would have been marketed as Midnight if it had been sold with the S7. I compared my Charcoal loop with my Midnight leather wallet and the two are very close. I expect the new BSL to be virtually the same color as the Charcoal loop, but with the nicer new S7 weave.
All that being said, I also want to see a direct comparison picture!
I have to exercise spartan patience in bugging my friend to order, but he does technically have my funds in the amount of two refunded, lightly discounted BSL sitting in his account haha.
As line items, Midnight Solo Loo and Midnight Braided Solo Loop made both of us dizzy.

Series 7 with braided solo loop. Got 2 size down from what it said on Apple website after measuring, and it was pretty tight at first but now my wrist has adjusted to it rather than the band. Bonus photo with micro camera.

I did. It's not a massive upgrade by any means, but what I do really like so far is the larger screen (which is quite noticeable) and the fast charging - both features from the 7.
I figured I may as well get the 8 because I wanted the body temperature sensor. Even though it's not particularly useful for guys at the moment, it's still capturing the data, and I'm interested to see the fluctuations in the Health app.
Thanks. Yeah, the bigger screen (1mm?) will be welcome. Also, I've got a good price for my S6 so think a 2 year upgrade cycle sounds about right.

Bought an S7 refurb for roughly $130 USD less than the equivalent S8. I upgraded from a 5-year old S3, so this was a massive upgrade.

It’s definitely time for an upgrade. I still have my S4, but I’m upgrading to the Apple Watch Ultra which should be arriving on Friday.
I did! So far the most noticeable thing is the screen. I didn't think it would be THAT much larger but it definitely feels that way to me. I'm pretty happy with that alone so far. I guess it depends on what you want in the watch to be able to tell whether it is worth the upgrade because I'm honestly not sure what else is different aside from the temperature sensors.
I was torn between this and the Ultra, but I think this watch fits in everyday scenarios/fashion more than the Ultra does.
Had to get the slate blue. Finally my favourite colour in my favourite band style. Have always loved the northern blue and last year the bleu lin but this combination now is a dream. 😍
There’s an app called Bandbreite that has photos of all the bands, ever. You could do a comparison there.
i saw the green in store and it's really pretty! didn't realize it was black til they pointed it out to me! i think the green would look gorgeous with a pink band! (i love pink and green together!!!)
