I already preordered a black Ocean Band to go along my S7 45mm in SBTi. Can’t wait to wear it on Friday!
Not the person you responded to (but we were talking about having the same dilemma) but this is my fear. I've always worn SS watches and while I'd obviously save some $$ going aluminum I know scratches on the face would drive me insane. I also wonder if I'd wear it less out of fear of scratching it (I'm someone who keeps my watches for at least few years, barring the time I went S2 > S4 (but the S2 was a lot less at the time because it didn't have cellular and I got it refurbished). I'm going from S4 > S8 and would keep the next one about as long.
Exactly. I have had a couple aluminium watches and I ended having minor dot or scratch in the glass and it drove me mad watching that little spot there all the time. It’s like you can’t keep your eyes out of it.
Sorry, not for me, even that I love the colours and light weight of the aluminium ones…
Same - I know you get pretty poor sale/trade in, but I still prefer to spend the extra $$$ for that reason

And fun it was today. Result: a colorful palette of watches, all now transitioned to my new iPhone, and (where applicable) updated to watchOS 9. Took me almost half a day to get them all done 😅

It’s right in the middle. That magic iridescent peacock/mallard/Batman Poison Ivy sparkly deep saturated teal.

Yes that’s right. It looks bluish black (like a dark bruising on skin) under the slightest of light.
Oh wow good for you! Sometimes they stop selling different colours during certain seasons. When I saw this colour right after the S8 was announced, I knew I had to get it before it disappears again.
Nope! I’m totally happy with my S7. But I’ll be getting the Ocean Band this Friday though. Can’t wait to see how it will look on my wrist.
The metal links and buckle on the band is titanium so it kinda goes well with the Ti S7 of mine I think.
Im willing to check how the braided midnight looks like compared to the braided charcoal. Really want a black braided so that one may be closer.
