I was very lucky. In store pickup at south hills village!

Wow! Lucky Duck! Thats actually my closest Apple store but I was on the fence about getting the Pro so it seems like my indecision cost me. Well can't wait to get mine. Enjoy! It sure all looks great together.

Ironic, my closest store is Ross Park (I'm in Butler County).

Seems like SHV Mall always has the most stock for some reason. Anyways, good luck and enjoy the IPP!

That shot makes the screen look quite sunken under the surface of the glass. I'm sure it's not like that, and is laminated like the air 2? I don't think I could go back to a non-laminated iPad ever again, it's such an improvement.
No, it's not sunken in, and seems to also have the anti reflective coating, at least I think so.. (Haven't used an Air 2 with one so I can only say it's better than my Air). The picture probably looks like that because of the bezel, but the screen is actually quite close to the glass.

Pro - Air2 - Mini - 6Plus - 6 - Ipod touch ! (Only the Ipad Pro and Ipod are mine LOL)

So far it is WOW! The screen is really amazing. The first minute or so you hold it, you are like...this is crazy large but after that, it just feels great. It is not bad to hold at all, especially with 2 hands. Works fast, split screen is great, sound is suprisingly good too. Next to get a keyboard.

Ha ha that is awesome!

I got mine the first day from the Biltmore store in Phoenix after ordering online expecting store deliveries to start no earlier than Friday. When I found out that stores carried them in stock on the same day and that Biltmore had them available, I cancelled the online order, placed an in store purchase order, and picked it up around noon on Wednesday.

I purchased a 128 Gb Space Gray Cellular model to replace my iPad Air 2 Gold with the same specifications. I kept the online order for the Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard case. The Pencil is due the last week of November and the Keyboard in mid-December. I purchased a Gray Smart Cover at the Apple Store to provide protection until the Keyboard Case arrives. I was disappointed with the cover color options. I figure Apple assumed a "Professional" would want a "Professional" color, I.e. Boring. I would prefer red or blue.

The setup was easy but took a long time loading 250 apps from a backup of my iPad Air 2 (longer than I remember for the iPad Air 2 from the iPad Air). It also seems to take a a second or 2 longer to open apps than on my iPad Air 2. Otherwise, the speed seems equal or better than the iPad Air2.

Today, I purchased a quilted red leather notebook cover designed to hold a 8.5 x 11 legal pad from Staples. It's size matches perfectly to the iPad Pro (I matched it to a cardboard cutout I made when the specs for the Pro were announced) and can hold the iPad Pro with the Smart Cover or Smart Keyboard on. This will be perfect when I'm out and about to protect the back from scratches.

The display is amazing. Unbelievably sharp and bright and with the greater size photos, videos, Safari, and Flipboard all seem to come alive. I've wanted a larger iPad for years (I've owned every model ever made and a couple twice as they were replaced under warranty). I've known I was getting an iPad Pro for 2 years ever since the concept was speculated about. I can hold it for 5 minutes comfortably with one hand and two hands for much longer. The screen is also amazingly thin for the size (far superior to the Surface. My only concern is whether the Apple Pencil will wear the screen with continuous use.

The surprise was the quality of the sound from the 4 larger speakers. Even half volume is louder than full volume on the iPad Air 2. The sound is also very rich with good bass and a surround sound quality.

Must open it! Plenty to enjoy before the pencil arrives. :)

yea i did, i gave in to it in the end :) i'm just waiting for the Pencil before i use apps like Procreate and so on. It's also great to hear that Final Draft will be supporting iPad Pro :D
