Business in the front (Hublot Big Bang King)

Nice collection. But you have to write your name on a piece of paper and put it in the photo to auth it, not just photoshop it in. :)

When i had my iPhone 4 i had a timex digital watch that had a dongle that plugged into the phone and then the watch could be used for controlling music playing on the phone, I really liked the it, (the strap has gone a bit funny now) i've not used it since i got my iPhone 5, now i use a Mondaine.

I"m looking forward to getting music control again with the Apple watch.

I'll write on the paper to auth when I want to sell it.

What I have learned by scrolling through this thread is that the AppleWatch is small compared to many of the regular watches pictures. Also, companies make some really ugly busy watch but yet still sell them.
Personally I want a clean watch without clutter (ie complications). Look at some of the watches, I can't figure out how you can use them to tell time with all the extra hands and dials.

Right now just Apple Watch and Sport ,

I try to convince myself to get the edition, but I'm not so sure about buy new watch every year.

I think that's the right call, even for high end collectors like you.
Who wants to throw money on a stupid depreciating watch like the Edition?
Next year or at most the year after that, it will be nearly worthless in value (other than gold melt value, which probably isn't much).

I do agree with you, but If it not my money , The edition would be nice .:D
The feeling when someone look at the edition very different from traditional watch, I'm quite sure not much people know how much it is but on the edition people tell the different that because Apple do the great job on marketing .

Yeah a lot of people will try to talk to you if you wear he Apple watch whereas if you wore a Patek minute repeater, 95% will think it's some old watch that's not as cool as their Nixon.

I'm not going to bet my money on the edition, but it's not that unlikely that the first edition "edition" becomes a collectors item in 20 years.

In some ways that's the downside of the apple watch or the upside. If you want everyone in the world to know you are wearing a 15k watch, this is a good watch to have. On the other hand, if you don't want someone to bring up your watch with you unless they know what a 50k patek looks like, that's another matter entirely.

Anyway, I'm getting the sport too.

I agree but the "Editions" are limited and people do collect crazy things.

This thread is just porn to me. I love buying watches. I can't ever afford the Rolex type things so currently own:

4 G-Shocks
2 Fossils
1 Diesels
1 Ben Sherman
1 Nike GPS
1 Fuelband
1 Ghostbusters watch from my GF

Keep looking back at this thread so just admiring your watches!
