Today's choice, but my soon to be AW will not be replacing any of my mechanical watches.

It will probably just be working in to rotation or dependent on what my activity is for the day.

Nice gmt!
What other watches do you have?

Thanks. My other is a 16610, the sub I fell in love with when I was a kid and I knew nothing about "Rolex." I just knew I had to have it.

I was working on a Pam next, until the AW took a little from the watch fund.

@Heuer1860

I was conflicted for a while re: this. I've ordered a cheap 38mm black sport for several reasons.

Although I could, I'm not willing to spend big on the first gen. Equally, went for the 38mm as I plan on wearing it on my right wrist occasionally while I wear my Swiss mechanicals on the left wrist. So smaller the better. In times past, I've worn a watch on my left wrist and Fitbit or equivalent on my right, no big deal in casual situations. An obvious no-no in formal circumstances but 95% of my life is informal, including work, so it won't be an issue.

Don't even see it as duplicating function. Although the Apple Watch is more accurate than even my COSC certified watches, it's otherwise a pretty poor time piece, not being always on and requiring constant charging. Similarly, my mechanicals are terrible at fitness tracking and answering phone calls :)

I do think wearing the glitzier Apple straps in this way, on the second wrist, would look a bit....gauche....but that's purely my opinion, and I'm hardly a good judge given both my wrists will be adorned. I don't want to be accused of Nilaying :)

Nano. All my 30 pins are put away though lol. I went with the 38mm. We'll see what I think.

This is currently my fav watch to wear at the moment, soon to be gathering dust in it's case :D

I lusted over one of them for years, but never got round to buying one. Take it you went for the SS Space Black to replace it?

This is my current watch (looks a lot more beat up now), had it for 10 years as of this summer.

I've got a Casio G-Shock GW-3500B currently and I've been a long time G-Shock wearer because I do seem to regularly bump it on doorways etc.

Not my actual watch, but this is the model:

Looking through all the many pictures shown in this thread I've come to the renewed realisation (I think I've thought this before) that the watch industry on a whole is in very dire need of some taste, measure and restraint. I won't mention any particular samples, but hell, are there some utterly ugly/pretentious/over the top watches out there!

Nuff said, carry on.

Mostly replacing my Pebble. I'll still use it when I'm working outside with chainsaws, sand, dirt, chemicals, concrete, or whatever since I can just wash the thing and it's already a bit scratched up. Or when I'm in the pool, I use it for a lap timer and to control the music on my phone when it's plugged into some speakers.

And if I know I will be going somewhere without power for a while. Since it'll go 7 days no problem.

Other than that, I'm all in for the Apple watch.

I am pretty confident that my previous €400 watch had the worst interface ever. I still to this date don't know how to navigate the settings.

This is what I have been wearing, but I have finally stopped wearing since it is falling apart I need a new band for this watch, and a battery

White original Pebble, ~160mm wrist and ordered 42mm. Hopefully it will look good.
