Sold my Tissot to fund this...

I think this is one of the best Black SS AW pics I have seen thus far. I have been looking for a great pic of one since this is what I ordered. As of tomorrow, I have a try on appointment just to see if they have one in store so I can see what it will look like on my wrist. From the looks of that pic, I just can't seem to understand why so many people are calling this an ugly watch. From some of the threads that I've read, I have seen people also ordering one, going to see it in person, only to cancel the order since they say it looks to gunmetal'ish I guess and not as black as the pics make it seem to be. Either way, I am still stoked about my order, and can't wait to see what it'll look like in person!

They look awesome. I'm going to seriously miss wearing my Citizen. Great watches.

Yeah I know right, the Citizen I will use for beach days and Scuba diving in the Florida Keys. The Invicta don't know we will see, have this on order.

For me, the sport watch will be a work tool and a work out tool. For events where I need to dress to a certain level, I'll where my Citizen. The Fossils I own are more style items that I'll wear in other situations.

My cheap Timex's :p

I was going to buy my first high-end watch last year but kept believing Apple would release a watch soon and just waited. You can see my excitement when I watched the keynote live lol I waited over a year, and now in 10 days I will finally have my high-end smart watch!

I talk about my Citizens like they're something bigger than they are. Whatever watch makes you happy.

On Friday morning I went into the Apple Store to solely try the SG sport on. When I did I was a bit disappointed. I love the look of the SG Sport, but it look kind of dull on my arm. To me the SG Sport really pop on lighter complexion people. But when I tried the the SS with the classic buckle. The reaction from my wife and her girl friends, said it all. They were like, Wow that's the one. And as much I didn't want to spend $200 more, they where right.

I plan to go back to the Apple Store on Thursday. I want see how the SG sport would look on my arm, with the leather loop in blue or black. This is how it look on my arm with the black sport band.

I have pretty much just one daily watch. Bought this Seiko solar almost a year ago to replace an older Pulsar with a broken bracelet. Nice, easy to read (I like functional). I've never been much of a watch guy. My SS Apple Watch will be my priciest.

Nice Tuna! I have one somewhere too. My third divers watch when I was a kid.

Wearing my 16610 right now, my daily driver.

Breitling Chronomat. I've worn it daily for 9 years. Guess it's going in a drawer with a 1997 Omega Seamaster. Actually, I'll probably store it in a watch winder. I just got it back from a service overhaul last month.

Citizen Eco-Drive Stiletto which has not held up well at all. It is not even two years old. The sapphire crystal is, of course, flawless. But the black finish? Terrible.

Replacing it with a stainless steel and link bracelet (and probably a few other options.) While the space black stainless seems alright, I actually got really bored of wearing an all black watch, especially during Summer when I'm more tan than this. Plus, I'm tired of breaking out the tools to adjust this thing as I've been losing weight and really look forward to the adjustability of Apple's link bracelet. Bring on the shipments!

I'm not a watch wearer. I only bought this one to get used to wearing a watch before my apple watch comes. I haven't used a watch since 2008/2009.

A Panerai homage watch:

I also love Timex. Their weekender, expedition, and old 80's LCD models.

Links of London Black Ceramic 'Phoebe'. One of the nicest watches I have ever seen. Made me wear a watch again after around 20 years without a watch.

Orient 5 "Blue Mako"... I'll miss you!
Best value for money ever. Even the (massive) stainless steel link bracelet that came with it feels way more valuable than the one for Apple Watch, which in my opinion is way to light. But the whole watch cost only one third of the price of the Apple link bracelet alone.

It's gonna be interesting to see if the Apple Watch will really permanently oust this watch from my wrist.

Love that, my fave Rolex.

My current watch that a Space Black SS link Apple Watch will replace is a a Citizen Ecodrive I had for my last birthday from my wife.

(sorry about the pic size :roll eyes:)

I just love the simplicity of the watch and it feels so nice on the hand. Makes you feel important!
