Do they think your watch is feminine?

Are you talking about my 38mm watch? It's about 50/50. Some actually see it as a girl watch. Others say it can go either way. Personally me, I am just going to sell mine. Cause yes I think it is to small. Just going with a 42mm instead.

I picked up my fiancée while wearing a White Sport, and set her back down again with no problems. The watch worked fine before and after, you'll have no troubles.

It's rated GFFW-15: "Wearable for lifting girlfriends, fiancées, and wives for no more than 15 seconds at a time." Apple underpromises, so it's also usable for lifting boyfriends, fiances, and husbands.

if you need a $350 smartwatch to break the ice and "pick up girls" I feel sorry for you....

I have the SS 38mm with BSB and have been on a few dates and never once mentioned that "I have the :apple: watch" nor has my date noticed.

The 38mm doesn't really look that smartwatch style and blends in nicely...

I'm a chick, and I don't assume that everyone starting a conversation with me, about my Apple Watch or otherwise, wants to bang me. Sometimes, people talk to each other for reasons other than "picking someone up".

Yeah, I've had women ask me about it in public, but not any I wanted to hang with (unfortunately). I went on a date over the weekend and the woman didn't even notice. The nerve of her... haha.

Some free dating advice, as soon as you order, immediately turn the conversation to how amazing your Apple Watch is then talk about what you think Apple will announce at WWDC then talk about how many different Apple Stores you've visited.

and..oh wait where'd she go?

:D

Exactly... I kept the conversation on less geeky topics. Many in this thread taking things too seriously when I believe most is in jest.

Either you're good with women or you aren't. I could pick up women with a 1980's Casio calculator watch.

Shocked that this hasn't been discussed. And no this isn't going to be your best troll reply. Or you saying you been with a 1000 women since receiving the watch. But seriously, how many of you have actually went out in public and used the watch as conversation starter?

I noticed myself that even wearing the smaller 38mm in public. Women do stop me to ask if I am wearing the "watch". You would be surprised how well this works in public. Of course they aren't going to be with you cause you are wearing it. Once they stop you, and start talking to you. The rest is up to you. It's not a miracle worker lol.

The watch is an excellent Woman repellant. Well if you can afford the BRIKK version it could help.

The fact that this question is asked just shows that a lot of us are totally missing the point when it comes to women lol

Not really.

Many men need a 'conversation starter' in order to talk to women. At one point, I was so shy that I couldn't even small-talk about weather.

My brother never wore a watch - his 'conversation starter' was asking a girl what the time was. It didn't matter if she was wearing a watch or not, and he didn't care to know the time at all either. He just wanted to start talking.

I remember being shy and wearing t-shirts or doing things like paying with $2 bills - anything that would get someone ELSE to start a conversation with ME - as I was too scared to start one at all.

Now, I'm an extremely outgoing person, and marvel at how much has changed. I will start up random conversations with random people all the time. I'm married now, so 'picking up girls' is not what I'm looking for, but I can talk to anyone about anything now.
